Tripping With DXM | Chugging Sickly Cough Syrup

I definitely don't recommend DXM or chugging overdoses of any kind of cough syrup. It is potentially fatal and you could easily die in agony if you get a syrup containing too much of the wrong ingredients, mainly PARACETAMOL or (another name for it) ACETAMINOPHEN.
Minty's Cough Syrup Chugging recommendations....
- PLEASE, PLEASE don't bother doing it, but if you're determined.....
- Google and understand every single ingredient
- NO PARACETAMOL (ACETAMINOPHEN) under any circumstances
- Visit dxm.tripsit.me/ for a doseage calculator and product information (excellent)
- DON'T take with MAOIs (dangerous)
- START OFF SMALL! Some people are MUCH more sensitive to the effects than others.
- Be aware that grapefruit interferes with the metabolisation and can prolong/intensify the trip
- Be aware of potentially serious allegies/interractions with other drugs (weed included)
- Expect to not drive for day or more
- Expect to have severe diarrhea
- Expect to throw up and dry heave until exhausted
- Expect to never, ever want to try this ever again after the first experience.
Don't throw your health or life away on this awful crap, you are worth far more than this believe me!

I read something recently about how the FDA (in the US) at some point had to choose which cough suppressant to greenlight between Dextromethorphan or Codeine. They picked DXM because only about half of those who try to trip off of it have an experience that they enjoy. A lot more people like Codeine and it has a higher potential for abuse

MXE (Methoxetemine) is the cleanest dissociative for me. It doesn't seem to have the negatives like ketamine and DXM. However the euphoric feeling can be extremely addictive. DXM is an acquired taste in my oppinion. Great video!

DXM was the worst drug experience I've ever had. Uncontrollable sweating, burning up hot, throwing up, shitty visuals (just a grid with spheres where the lines intersected). There are much better drugs out there imo.

Yes, I really did enjoy the visuals the first time, but even then it wasn't worth all the negatives. Did you do the old cough syrup thing? And I take it one try at it was enough? Maybe my second time was like your first. There wasn't even the merest hint of a visual, and the music sounded as flat as a pancake. Plus I spent a good 45 minutes glued to the bog whilst dry heaving into the bath just next to it. All all in a cold clammy sweat and thinking "What the hell am I doing to myself" It was really totally horrible. After that I decided to bite the bullet and grow my own shrooms, and then 1 year later extract my own DMT.

@@MintyLoveDMT I used Robocough (only active ingredient is DXM hbr). And yes - 1 try was enough. I have absolutely no desire to ingest that shit again! The trip was mainly spent throwing up, and being soaked from sweat. Like you said - very clammy. I was so warm, I remember thinking "I might actually fry my brain and do real damage here". The visuals were elementary at best, and the slight dissociation lasted 2-3 days. No need to go through that again. Cheers on growing and extracting your own - that's where the real magic is at!

Here in Italy we have it in drops(Aricodil Tosse). Each bottle is 25ml, 350mg of DXM in each little bottle. No other active ingredients.

@@MintyLoveDMT Actually it trips me out that almost no one here in Italy knows what dxm even is. I think the recreational use among the population is close to 0 unlike other parts of the world like America, despite the fact that we have it in this much more pure form, which I think American kids just dream they could have. Of course we have mostly syrups and pills like in America(still more concentrated though in most cases); in fact there are a just a few brands that make it in the drip form, easily and quickly ordered at any pharmacy. I don’t know if the substance has any actual value, what drove me to try it was curiosity on the dissociative/psychedelic space it could put you in.

Hi mate, sounds like you went for the *full* experience: It's awful in every possible way and then you unexpectedly have a good time :D I agree that drinking cough syrup is absolutely disgusting, once is enough like you say, but there are a few alternatives if you feel like exploring dissociatives a bit more. I'm by no means a connoisseur, but I've tried DMXE, and it's is definitely a whole lot cleaner than drinking cough syrup. Also subjectively feels like it has some serotonin activity going on. Had some actual legitimate insights on it. Ideal set & setting: be alone, lie still in bed, and listen to music.

They are certainly "something else", and have really helped me, but at the moment I feel more pulled towards tryptamines again. BTW thank you for your videos. Ketamine is a much better disso than dxm, at least for me. It has visuals like dxm but it’s a good feeling. No nausea nor diarrheal, no bad feelings and on high doses you leave your body completely like no other drug can do. Of course, it’s not for everybody and really toxic for your bladder but for me, it’s worth it and you shouldn’t be concerned if you do it once a month at the very most(I do it once a year or so, but I read that’s the most you can do). Also, ketamine feels more clean, it doesn’t feel like you’re poisoning yourself

Well TBH mate, if I've saved just one person from chugging this diabolical stuff then the video's purpose has been fulfilled and I'll die a happy man! D'ya know I wore my legs right down to my knees walking endless miles trying to find those caps. I risked getting shouted at by landowners, got stared at by folks on the local golf course, and saw loads of other folks who I suspected were doing exactly the same as me. I even went around with an RSPB sweatshirt and a pair of binoculars so I could disguise myself as a bird watcher. What a pain. After this DXM farce, I ordered a magic mushroom kit from the Netherlands and within a couple of weeks had 30g or more dry. I wish I'd done this in the first place, it was simplicity itself. In Germany you can buy just the pure DXM HBr tablets. I never got any of ill effects when doing it in its pure form and (so far) have found it more enjoyable than "real drugs" like weed and LSD.

Can 100% confirm the walking like a robot thing and lots of other aspects of your trip except i was at a 3rd plateau trip (cough gel pills) make it way easier to get it down. However violently vomited for hours still so yeah. Anyway the only thing is i had waaaaay more of a dissociative effect at 3rd plateau could see myself in the 3rd person constantly. One time was lying in my friends bed my friend put me in to recover from the trip closed my eyes for a split second opened my eyes and was pants down in the toilet bowl. I got into a few heavy sessions of DMT vape cartridges over the Christmas! ☺️ Still no bloody break through but I did start with small amounts and no MAOI. Pretty sure I glanced at the waiting room but what was more interesting is theres a lot of stuff you can miss on the way up with the mesh method. Defo think I prefere vaping it in liquid form. Appreciate you sharing that and glad you had a good experience but let's not forget that just because you had this, it no guarantee for anyone else - who's to say they won't have the opposite? Plus whilst I conceded that the "little risk" thing may apply to most, I was alsochatting to a chap who (unbeknown to him at the time) is physically predisposed to be extremely sensitive to DMX, and I quote he tells me he's "deficient in the metabolising enzyme CYP2D6 which led to a pretty horrendous experience" Not trying to be a dick, just trying to balance the context for any newbies reading your comment who may be in "selective belief" mode.

That's akin to asking which is the best type of vice for a friend to crush his bollocks in. Being deadly serious though, I'd respectfully advise him to forget DXM as there are far better things out there with far less nasty side effects. IMO it's just not worth going down this road - it leads absolutely nowhere. But if he insists, then perhaps he's best doing his own research and choosing a product based on the outcome of this. After all, which sane person would want to trust anothers' word to avoid an excruciatingly painful and slow death. Every product on the market includes a patient information leaflet (also often available on the web) which can be studied for ingredients. Your friend must google every single ingredient and satisfy himself that none are going to cause harm. Not easy as he may not even know of an allergy with one of them Sorry I can't be more positive about this stuff. While DMT has totally changed my life for the better, DXM has done nothing but provided a few brief visuals, lots of vomit, shitting and a feeling that I've totally disrespected my body with insidious poison. And he got far more than he bargained for when he tried DXM one day. His comments (username is Saturday Night - scan the commens on this video) tell a very melancholy and cautionary tale. I wonder if you're also having the same problem as he did?

I'd never heard of this and don't feel drawn to it at all - with the possible exception of there being a simple extraction technique or, much better, the originating plant this substance was developed from if that was the case... Honestly mate, if you don't feel drawn to it then IMO there's little to fault your instincts. I try to never either recommend or put people off any substance but in the case of this it's extremely hard to remain equivocal. No I've never tried Iboga, although I have seen the excellent "Dosed" documentary/movie (was that your own recommedation?).
