In my opinion there is no better airline than Singapore Airlines. They offer a very incredible service, the best, that I ever experience in economy class. It is just brilliant. The last time that a flew with SA, was back in December of 2019. I want to fly again...

I agree! SQ is the best Y class in the airline industry!! Holistically speaking as well in terms of cabin crew service, meals, seat comfort, etc! I know a lot of people rave about EK, but I was thoroughly disappointed with EK’s subpar cabin crew & lackluster service; same goes for QR & TK. SQ was very impressive & memorable! ❤️

Lovely Trip Report! I’m glad to see Singapore still have the 3-3-3 configuration on their B777 aircraft. It’s so much more comfortable than the higher density 3-4-3 versions that a lot of airlines have switched to on these aircraft. Fantastic service as always on Singapore Airlines! ✈️

What a lovely trip report . Singapore airlines rarely disappoints , the large meals are really appreciable with comfortable seats and pillow with blankets. Special mention to Singapore sling as well . Remebering all again .Changi is indeed one of the best airports of the world .. beautiful ... nostalgic . I miss air travel badly , aviation industry never saw such a disaster ever ...

Let's hope, Singapore Airlines will survive this corona-crisis. Many employees are being laid-off and much of their fleet is being grounded.. Sad times..4300 workers are being fired. That is very, very sad.

It brought back my memories when I spotted the aircraft registration code 9V-SWW. That was the aircraft I boarded when I first flew with Singapore Airlines from SIN to Heathrow. There were so much good memories back then. Guess your trip report was filmed quite some time ago? Most passengers and crew still didn't use a mask at that time. Really miss the smell of the airport and drag my luggage walking across the airport. Singapore Airlines service never fails to impress me and also the fact that they have only 9 seats in a row as compared to other airlines which have 10 seats, also its hot towel service in the economy class. Great video.

This economy-seat is hands down the best I have ever tried. The seat cushion padding is softer than any other. It's especially good on this 777-300ER, but I think slightly different than the a350, and the 772 is still the old seats I think. Unless they changed it last year. Amazing.

11:23 Have no idea how you can sleep for so long on these types of flights. When I AM able to fall asleep it's usually for maybe an hour at a time. The constant waking makes the rest I do happen to get pointless.

Flew this route on an A380 in business class. Way at the back on the upper decks. Full width ottoman, and one flight attendant almost all to myself. Awesome flight and service! Edit: How anyone can sleep 10 hours in economy class is perplexing to me :P

Great review of my national carrier Felix! This week has been a very sad week for the SIA Group and I know of many friends who were affected by this retrenchment exercise. While some maybe save for now, there is a general consensus that the SIA Group will be conducting another round in 6 months or less. There has been news that SIA will be launching flights to nowhere for Singaporeans in October and I can't wait to fly after more than 7 months of being stuck on land.

Back in my Texan days, I had to use Singapore Air because it offered flight from Dallas to Seoul, and it was a pleasant experience. Singapore air defines how an airline should be. Through this video, It seems like their wonderful features have been improved

i must say for Economy - the food, bit of extra room, and all the other little bits and bobs - that was quite great. Ive only travelled economy and must say that food looked a lot better than some i have had. and ive *never* had a menu in economy. hope to see more of your trips, thank you for posting this

Menus in economy are pretty common for 4-5 star airlines but Singapore Airlines economy class menu looks like business class menu

Nice trip report . When they ask for boarding card , it is for security check to see date and flight number :) not the seat number :) A lot of passengers dont know that and neither did I until I became crew

Changi is the best airport in the world bar none. It's an attraction in and of itself. T1 even has a men's room with a head-high window over the urinals that looks on to the tarmac so you can spot planes while you do your business. I had to tell a few people waiting in line that I had prostate trouble :-D

I flew SA from Sydney to Bangalore. The best airline I have ever flown, for sure. I did not nap but instead watched movies as it was a daytime flight. The plane from Singapore to Bangalore, though, was smaller than from Sydney to Singapore, and therefore a less pleasurable experience. That was not SA’s fault though. The only thing that happened that was SA’s fault was receiving the wrong paperwork to enter India. Inconvenient at customs, but not the end of the world.

Since Australia is so far South down under, flights to Iceland regularly take almost 24 hours P.S. I flew from Sydney (SYD) to Reykjavik (KEF) via Singapore (SIN) and Helsinki (HEL) successively with Qantas and Finnair (QF1>AY132>AY991) on 23/7/2019, then from Reykjavik (KEF) back to Sydney (SYD) via Helsinki (HEL), Singapore (SIN) and Melbourne (MEL) successively with Icelandair, Finnair and Qantas (FI346>AY131>QF36>QF408) on 2/8/2019

Some newer planes have LED lighting which works at a frequency similar to the shutter speed of modern cameras, because of that, these lines appear. We haven’t yet figured out how to get rid of this problem unfortunately...
