I've just booked this flight for July, in the A332, of course! Also chose the same seat (1 row ahead yours). In my case, I'll be connecting from A Coruña (operated by White; ATR 72-600). In my reservation says 1x Meal, 1x Lunch. How many meals did you have in this flight?

Lisbon airport is smaller compare to that of Madrid Barajas airport. They have few air bridges. Thats why big aircrafts are parked at the ramp area. Smaller and narrow body aircrafts utilized the aero bridges.

Lisbon Airport has the same idea as Istanbul because you see in Lisbon, they have remote stands and not enough gates. Istanbul has a bigger terminal but fewer remotes stands

Major fail at the security check point, what was all that about ? It was good you got something to eat on the flight, but man that sandwich looked so dry I had to drink some water myself after looking at it. That is also super cheap of TAP to not have the IFE working on short flights. Nice short hop trip report though and thank you for posting it.

Haha, yep... I don't know, just...just don't fly from Lisbon, hahahaha :D That sandwich, well...let's better not talk about it! I would have actually even expected a hot meal since the flight was over 3 hours long...other major airline such as Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, Air France, etc. serve food on flights 2:30h+. That's true, I always think...if you have an IFE, why not use it!? Hi David! I really like your video's but I want to say something. And it's just my oppinion. Sometimes I think that your subtitles are always the same for example: -I have to kill some time -Do not hestitate to leave a comment (you say that in EVERY video and I'm like, you can say it sometimes in a different way like "Be free to leave a comment" but always the word "Hestitate" if you watch a lot of video's of SimplyAviation it's getting a bit annoying that the end is always the same. I already can predict sometimes your subtitles! So that's what I wanted to say, that you refresh your subtitles sometimes and try not to use the same words every tripreports;) But anyway, it's just my oppinion and you can do what you want! You are still my favorite Flight Reporter, even better than NeverNotFlying, only because you do way more reports than him. And I really enjoy your video's. +Marvin Becker Das war das Haupterminal wo alle Airlines außer die Billig Flieger abgefertigt werden. Orientierung ist gut, man muss halt nur die Schilder beachten, dann funktioniert es einwandfrei.

Wow... that's some slim meal. I flew with TAP on a LIS-BUD route (only 20 min longer than this one) and I got a full meal. I have to note that I flew in the afternoon. As it turned out, that was one of their last flight on this route. So sad.

Mine was hot meal as well on LIS-BUD. Chick tighs with potatoes, salad and dessert. This is what I got. That was last year, by the way. But it seems this service was discontinued.

Als ich vor drei Jahren mit meinen Großeltern von Düsseldorf nach Wien und wieder zurück geflogen bin, waren sie total überrascht, das man beim CAT sein Gepäck schon am Bahnhof einchecken kann. Sie haben das nicht für möglich gehalten und sich gefragt wie es dann zum Flugzeug kommt :D

Ja, das ist echt eine Besonderheit am CAT! :) Theoretisch kann man einchecken und dann noch auf einen Kaffee in der Stadt gehen bevor man zum Flughafen fährt! :D Da gibt es einen eigenen Raum für Gepäck im CAT :)

Footrest?? WOW! I have never looked deeply into it but my assumption was that footrests (of this kind) were banned for safety reasons. I believe it makes a big difference at least for some (not so tall) travelers. Just wonder why it is not widely installed on long-haul aircrafts.
