Be careful, if they need to fly passengers on an overbooked plane they could dump you out of the plane and you could be at hospital instead of meeting your family. That's why I hate United.

Mathéo I do understand where you’re coming from, but do remember that the whole dragging off the plane incident was almost two years ago. Taking people off flights happens all the time, as it’s totally legal and it happens with a lot of airlines. Sorry that you’ve had a bad experience, but from what I’ve seen, nobody else has been dragged off (including myself, and I’ve flown United for quite a while).

I recently flew UA 962 to Berlin and UA 963 (return flight) from Newark on 767's. I can confirm that the flight was a delight, the cabin crew professional and kind, the ground service crew in Berlin (in particular) spectacularly kind and generous and warm. I had kinda dreaded flying UA internationally but based on this experience, I would fly them economy any day of the week, anywhere in the world. YOU GO UA!! This is what a great economy flight experience should be: nothing extravagant, nothing beyond the pale but simply sturdy, reliable, tasty, kind generous service. I will fly this airline anywhere now.

Good shot of this bird, Felix. I used to work on this bird when it did it's time flying to Maui, not too sure if the nose (registration) number is 6767 or 6667. All of UAL's birds are numbered that way.

I’m not a fan of the legacy carriers personally, if your going between Europe and The states airlines like Norwegian, Virgin Atlantic, TAP Air Portugal are better than delta, united, AA at overseas routes, I’ve never tried airlines like delta on short haul routes so maybe the excel in that department.

These are always fun and informative vids to watch. My last several trips to Europe from the U.S. were on foreign carriers, and I must admit that those meals were so much better than what seems to have been offered on UA for the past couple-three videos I've watched of their transatlantic service. Very disappointing. Meals (at least) were a whole lot better when I flew overseas on U.S. carriers (UA and TWA) back in the 80's and 90's.

I love United!!! I live in europe and i was thinking that United is terrible, but it was cheapest option from EWR to Heathrow so i decided to try, trip was amazing!!! Few years later i was flying from Madrid to Newark in my birthay, cabin was almost empty and i have got free upgrade to polaris!!!
