Hull Fair 2019 | Hold Tight You’ve Seen The Rest This Is The Best!!!

Welcome to Hull Fair 2019,yes I know I’m sorry it’s a long one but it’s worth the watch promise!!! Hull Fair is one of the largest travelling Fun Fairs in the UK and dates back over 700 years and just like Nottingham Goose Fair this annual event is one not to be missed. This annual event is situated on Walton Street car park and attracts showmen from all over and comprises of many attractions including Thrill Rides,Family Rides,Children’s Rides,Game Stalls and Food there really is something for everyone it’s huge.
So join myself and good friend Alastair as we explore this massive Fun Fair for the first time.We also bump into a really good friend and enthusiast John Andrew Horsman (link below to his channel) who’s knowledge is second to none and was such lovely company throughout the evening,thank you both of you it was amazing xx
I really don’t know where to start with this one,we did so much and it was really difficult to get the length of the vlog down anymore than I already have in the vlog however it’s definitely worth the watch. Hull Fair is incredible and really comes to life at night it was crazy busy for a Wednesday evening with great atmosphere,great company and great rides.
Right then what did we cover and ride? Well this Fun Fair is incredible there was so much choice including old favourites like Dogems,Sizzlers,Miami’s,Frog Hoppers,Tagada’s,Superbobs,2 Spinning Mouse Roller Coasters,2 Big Wheels,Juveniles and Game Stalls all of which I hardly covered throughout though there was plenty of them within the Fair. However we concentrated on rides we hadn’t seen in a long time or hadn’t ridden before so plenty of POVs including 2 Technical Park Loopfighters Atmosfear my favourite ride of 2019 and the one I haven’t ridden Darren Matthew’s No Limits both awesome machines,2 Ghost Trains Chadwicks the largest travelling Ghost Train and Johnathan Walker’s which I’ve never seen before but WOW!!! Watch the footage you’ll see. That’s not all there’s also POVs from Polar Xpress a really fast Matterhorn,Cyclone a sizzler that raises up,the KMG XXL,Atha’s Waltzer wow what a ride,what a show!!!,Danter’s Air ,Alastair takes you on an amazing journey 60 metres in the air on the amazing Star Flyer Sky Swing and do I get to ride Crow’s amazing Exciter ride find out. Obviously I couldn’t ride everything but I hope you enjoy what I did,along with this there’s loads of footage from around the Fair including loads of off ride footage along with plenty of chatting and banter.
If you’re looking to visit Hull Fair in the future I highly recommend it,there’s something for everyone it’s really easy to get to the event using the many Park and Rides located in the city and travelling by bus that drops you right outside,really cheap £3.25 per person or there’s deals for a family of 2 adults and up-to 3 children for £9.Prices for the attractions are super cheap with many happy hour offerings meaning some rides are only £1 however for most rides you are looking at £2-£3 with the most expensive being £5 it really is a good value Fun Fair Goose Fair take note.

What’s the ride at 37:24? Also love the Tech Power / Air Raid ride, think there was a similar one at a fair down south called Fighter. I need to ride these. Quite a few I need to tick off my list

Yes correct there is an extreme called Fighter 4 arm model really good owned by Farrar Shaw.

The ride in question is a KMG Experience model Super Spin ex Graham Sedgwick I think it got sold and is now in France.

I was at Hull fair. My anxiety got in the way. It's crazy. Went to get a coaster credit but the roller coaster I had ridden at Hull fair turned out it was the one from Southport pleasure land that I ridden before 'Crashtest'. Unfortunately not a coaster credit

I read so many places that 'Hull Fair is the largest travelling fair in Europe'. The 'DOM' in Hamburg, Germany, dwarfs Hull Fair. The Ferris wheel at the DOM has to be twice the size of the one at Hull Fair. As is the rest of the fair.
