@@SjofnBM1989 yeah and its funny, what she doesnt understand is people can sense genuine littles and react accordingly. when my little comes out, my boyfriend says he and the few friends that know will change how they speak to her, what topics they discuss.. they wont talk about anything "scary" or sexual, nothing sad or upsetting. they just let her play. because as they said "dude its a frickin kid. its really uncomfortable and weird if you dont." someone who is faking wont illicit that response. for example with Nin and anthony right? he was kind of course as he tends to be, but also you notice his voice went up a little a few times, as you do with a child. his cadence was calm, reassuring.. he just...instinctively handled her the way you would hope someone would.

So I have a lil story about this. About two years ago I developed psychosis due to mental illness and drug abuse. I don’t remember it, but my mom told me that I was walking around the house saying that “Harper is hungry”. Then I ate an entire bag of grapes and said “Harper made me do it”. I was in a mental hospital for a bit and they said I was dissociating and that the world in my head i was talking about made sense and that I WASNT crazy. That doesn’t mean I’ve got DID. that doesn’t mean I’ve got alters. I don’t know what it’s like to have DID. Ever since then I have depersonalization derealization that never goes away and it makes me feel crazy. I have bipolar and GAD and it makes me feel crazy. Sometimes some of that psychosis creeps back in and it makes me feel crazy. Her saying that DissasociaDID is crazy is so hurtful and mean. People with mental illnesses are told they’re crazy and she was trying to hack her way into a safe space for people suffering from DID and mental illness and cause hurt and drama from the inside. That’s so selfish. Cutting down peoples mental health for clout. Disgusting.

I cannot imagine what it must be like living with Dissociative Identity Disorder, it has to be really debilitating and scary. However when people fake having any illness, they really just jump for the gold. People who fake cancer say they have it because they are going through a depressive spat and want attention. I went through cancer back in 2003-2006 and I actually really got sick and tired of the attention, but my family wouldn't shut up about it.

I possibly have dpdr (depersonalization-derealization) according to my therapist due to severe acute stress and my past with depression, anxiety, OCD tendencies, and a victim of emotional abuse/toxic behaviors. DPDR is a form of DID/Dissociation Disorders, and it sucks. For Trisha to be faking a diagnosis of DID hurts to see.

Honestly the biggest issue wasn’t that Trisha “self diagnosed” generally if you do enough research and you talk to people with the disorder and you like really know your shit, you can usually pretty accurately have an idea of what’s going on. The issue is more that they clearly didn’t do any real research on the disorder. They repeatedly say that multiple personality disorder and DID are different disorders when really, they are the same thing, MPD is just an outdated term for DID since it doesn’t really accurately describe the disorder. Plus the fact that they’re obviously doing this for attention the video is thrown together and clearly not researched or anything like that. There’s more points that show how Trisha just did no research and used it to shirk responsibility for their actions but honestly this edible is kicking in hard and I’m starting to lose the motivation to type this and my grasp on language

I haven't finished this video yet, but I just wanted to point out that The Balloon Boy Hoax at 5:53 might've actually never been what really happened, & putting it in a video as an example as someone pulling a stunt for attention seems unfair. Internet Historian made a very compelling video about it, as well as uploading another video where he let the Dad speak on his side of the story & how it was never a stunt for attention, just the media & police looking for a good story to elevate their careers.
