A big part of this was that Hila (Ethan's wife and Trisha's sister-in-law) was pregnant at the time and had been through a lot of fertility treatment so they were extra worried about her miscarrying. Trisha kept up this tirade against Hila and kept calling her names and sharing information about the family. Ethan's mom text Trisha and told her that Trisha could cause Hila to miscarry with stress, and then things got worse with Trisha calling them all evil and said that Ethan's mom cursed her.

A lot of their fights was honestly down to Trisha being super disrespectful. She trashed Ethan’s family, Hila and Moses’ family, the Jewish culture, and their final blow was because she was disrespectful to Ethan’s existing production team. She basically insulted their work ethic and ideas, and wanted them replaced when they’ve been loyal to Ethan for years.

Dee and everyone else who don't know, Trisha has BPD. People with BPD have extreme mood swings, unstable relationships and trouble controlling their emotions. That's why she's always triggered by certain things, acting "crazy", etc. Trisha really needs to get her illness together because it obviously affected the other people around like Ethan and the H3 Podcost crew. Hopefully she's doing better now.

Agreed. She was splitting so much throughout the podcast's lifespan. You can explicitly see it on the first fight the video showed. In most episodes, Ethan is her best friend--one of her favorite people in the world. Then during the fight, he is the epitome of what she hates in this world. It's essentially textbook splitting.

Actually, they used each other, that's what it was. Trisha was getting support at the time for exposing shane dawson(one of the biggest creators at the time) and it was an opportunity for Ethan to have her on a podcast and milk the temporary support. When the support started to fade away and views weren't as high, he started poking the bear and triggering her behind the scenes and on camera, he knew exactly what to do and how. He got what he wanted IMO. He painted her as the bad guy, but really they're both bad people IMO.

Idk how people could watch this podcast. It was always SO tense. I couldn't take the stress. Frenemies ended in predictable flames. Trisha is now due to give birth to Ethan's niece by fall and has been completely cut off by him and Hila. Internet mess that turned into a real life mess that all their future kids get to be negatively affected by. Ethan and Trisha's children will be cousins whether they like it or not. I was barred from my cousins due to my mom having issues with their mom and it was so depressing.

For real. I actually ended up liking her a bit more after that podcast came out. But I tuned in around the end of it (like a couple of episodes around when they did their Disney trip together). I didn’t see the prior breakdowns on previous episodes, so I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. And asides from my own perspective, I’m also pretty sure this podcast ended up making a lotta people see her in a bit of a more positive light (than her usual problematic self). She was gaining hella fans. Too bad it had to end the way it did, though.

Just my perspective and I could be wrong!!! From what I see is a man who knows all of the triggers of another person and pushes every single one of them to get these desired reactions. He appears sympathetic but he's only doing it because he knows it's going to piss her off further. He also does this thing where he tries to tell her that she's upset, when she's telling him that she's not. Clearly she's upset and doesn't want to further the issue by talking about whatever it is they are. Even sane people sometimes get more upset when someone gives them the "let me tell you why you're mad". It's hard to leave an issue when you feel like you haven't properly defended yourself. Which is probably why she sticks around during those heated moments. She doesn't have the mental capacity to just walk away, because he's constantly trying to control her narrative and feelings by telling her how and what she feels.
@chaennies
@chaennies 2 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I feel as if this is true. Now I never watched any of these Trisha flareups/the end of frenemies because I just really didn’t want to witness that go down, but looking at these few clips, Ethan does the exact same thing every time. Ethan might be trying to calm down the situation by agreeing with Trisha, or trying to get to the bottom of their feelings in a blatant manner so things could be resolved quickly for the benefit of the both of them, but seeing it from another perspective, it does sound like he’s mocking them. Explaining why they’re mad to him, like they don’t know. Keeps on reiterating, again and again until they explode. “You’re right, I’m wrong, everything is fine, you’re not upset”. He literally does this in all three clips. Which in turn, makes Trisha even more angry because they probably think he’s being sarcastic/not taking them seriously. Ethan’s tone at times isn’t really helping him in his case either. And who knows how many times he’s done that outside of these clips. But lord, that last episode of them together… anyone can obviously see that Ethan sarcastically saying “yeah I’m gaslighting you, you’re not upset, you’re in perfect condition”, is what triggered her beyond no return. And to ask what he did that made them gasp in disbelief right after that? Come on now. Ethan also tries to go out of his way to make these horrible interactions with them entertaining/a joke. I guess to try to ease the tension. It is supposed to be an entertaining podcast, after all. But none of these clips are even slightly humorous to me. It only makes the situation more awkward. Plus, with him pretending that everything is nonchalant, continuing the end of the show on entertainment mode while Trisha is leaving in this storm of rage *does* make Trisha look like they’re the crazy one… which they hate being perceived as, as you can tell from prior incidents. So I can see why they had to say that. I cannot defend Trisha’s awful comments/actions towards Ethan, his family and the crew from what I’ve seen, but consciously or unconsciously, Ethan kept on pushing them. This isn’t one-sided. Trisha is clearly unstable. Ethan shouldn’t have to walk on eggshells, yes, but avoiding the behavior you keep on exhibiting over and over again towards Trisha that gets them riled up every. single. time. shouldn’t be that hard. This video was sad to watch. Anyways, this is what I thought while watching the video Dee put on. Sorry for all the rambling, lol. and I may be wrong as well on certain things. I definitely don’t have all the details on what happened overall.

Trisha has always been super jealous of Ethan & so it spilled out multiple times over the course of this podcast. Ethan is married and has children & his wife, Hila, was trying for another baby. Trisha, who has always wanted to be married and have kids of her own, could never stand to hear Ethan be excited for his life & so she constantly lashed out.
