I love everything she says in this interview. She's not speaking from a place of a showy kind of "Ooo look at us and what we did," nor is she speaking as a celebrity. Trisha is speaking as a wife and I admire that so much. Especially when she talks about what it's like to see Garth on the stand and how her heart hurts for him. She proves here that married life isn't always glamorous, but you need to stick around for those not-so-glamorous parts too. Man, does she love him. So awesome.

@LoneCloudHopper The trial had to do with huge amount of money Mr. Brooks gave to a hospital & to cancer patients in need, in return the Hospital was to build a new wing & have his mother's name on it. I believe it was to be a cancer ward. Well, the Hospital backtracked on their promise and it ticked Mr. Brooks off. Not only did he care about honoring his mother and her fight, he also cared about the cancer patients this would effect. I DO NOT blame the man for being upset. GO GET 'EM GARTH!

I can't believe all of the low-class, rude comments made here. Garth doesn't 'need' the money. The money was donated in honour of his mother, and the money wasn't spent where it was supposed to be spent...period. It doesn't matter how many millions he has, it's the principle. Calling his wife a 'fat tank'...omg...how low-class can you get???

Rich ppl always show their true "generousity" by giving some token amount (500k is chump change to GB) to charity just for the recognition and improvement to their image...and of course if you dont put their fuckin names allover some buildings so everyone knows how "giving" they are they will sue your bitch ass charity to get their token donation back...the joke is they could care less what the money is used for just as long as Brooks Hospital Wing is in bright lights for everyone to discuss. Who "sues" a cancer ward for a refund of a donation of 500k when they are worth 150 million? Sure you can be pissed they didnt use your donation to paint your name allover the hospital but suing them for a refund...very generous Mr Brooks

richard wittmayer Garth Brooks has a net worth of 400 million dollars....500k is absolute CHUMP CHANGE....at a standard interest rate of 6% GB would make 2 million dollars a month in interest alone if he just sat on his his ass for the rest of his life....suing a cancer ward for not building a new cancer research building for a 500k donation (THATS A WEEKS INTEREST PAYMENT FOR HIM) is a joke...what does he think they did with the money took it to Vegas and blew it on strippers? A cancer research and treatment center costs 10s to 100s of millions of dollars to build...think about all the billions maybe trillions donated to cancer research and still no cures...what did GB think his 500k was gonna build...a fuckin state of the art hospital....clearly they fell short of their needed donations and used the donations in other ways like improving their hospital....but bc GBs name is not painted on the side of the building hes trying to sue them for that big weeks worth of interest payment hes so devastated about. Maybe if he wins enough of a lawsuit they can sell the new equipment they purchased with his donation to treat their patients and you ppl can get sick and die in a rotting filthy hospital with old equipment.
