The vision problem in cerebral palsy is common in more than 30% of children. Squint, refractive error, cortical blindness is a common problem in these children. these CP children need early identification and early intervention.
Dr. S Viswesaran, from Janki Kund Eye hospital (Shri sadguru sewa trust) Chitrakoot took a lecture on the same topic during the national symposium on cerebral palsy management in patients perspective on 27th November 2016.

we dont have much treatment in poor vision but you have to consult ophthalmologist. different color light stimulation helps to these children upto some extent.

we cant say about prognosis only on the basis of MRI. we have to make detail assessment of the child. in last 15 year i have seen nearly 50000 children with cerebral palsy and it has been now proven fact that with early intervention more than 80% children can have good recovery. so without wasting time we should start good therapy for that you have to visit and stay at allahabad for 3 month to get good outcome. you can have lots of info on www.trishlafoundation.com & youtube channel . you can talk to mr vaibhav shukla on 9935102728 for appointment and more information.
