Michael Jordan is ranked 1st all time in NBA History for points per game at 30.1, and ranked 6th all time in assists per game for a shooting guard at 5.4 per game. MJ was one of the greatest passers too, but because of his athletic abilities, usually, his dunking and layups are shown in highlight videos. He was also one of the greatest clutch players, and was able to create his own shot, which is why he didn't rely on passing as much. Offense aside, Jordan was also one of the greatest defensive players of all time. The only player to win both the NBA Scoring Title and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season. Imagine that...the best offensive and best defensive player in the game...something that is extremely rare. Historically, great offensive players aren't as good defensively, and vice versa. There's usually a compromise. Sometimes, it comes to down to conserving energy for an entire game...but Jordan never slacked on either end. He was a machine.
@garyr87392 ай бұрын

He had two 3-peats in the 1990s, and was never even taken to a game 7 in the finals. 3 if those 6 championships were won on the opponent's court, including his last title in 1998 when he won in Utah. I’m 63 mannnn, I love watching you two young people experience MJ for the first time. I am old enough to experience when Jordan actually play and always been a fan of his. Just when I thought I seen all the great things about him, you guys showed me how it is to see young people like you two witness him for the first time. Thank you.

Jordan is the Tony Stark of the NBA. Yeah, there were other Avengers in his day. But 8 times out of 10, Jordan would be the one to save the universe.

Random craziest stat ever. Jordan from 1986-1998 averaged 43.6 points per 100 possessions in the playoffs. Goat

The important thing is that Jordan did this game in game out with no time management. It was full throttle all the way. You have guys today that can emulate MJ'S game but none of them can sustain the level of play on offense for more than a few games much less on defense. It was a great time.

And he did that while having a hard partying lifestyle, only getting 4-5 hours of sleep before games AND playing 18 holes of golf before warmups. Dude was an ANIMAL.

You need to react to Dr. J. Michael Jordan emulated him. Dr J played for the 76ers. He was the MASTER

He had a 48-inch vertical!! But Wilt Chamberlain who was 7' 2" had a 50-inch vertical!!! If he wouldn't have retired for 2 seasons, he would have had the NBA's 2nd 8-peat!!! Shaq said he never feared anybody, but Michael Jordan terrified him! Especially when he was running right at him.

Lebron and Kobe studied Mike. Kobe would call Mike in the middle of the night to ask how he did certain moves.

1996 Bulls set the record for most wins in an NBA regular season in which they won the championship, finishing with 72 wins and 10 losses. On February 18th of that same year Michael Jordan poured in 44 points and teammate Scottie Pippen added 40 during the Bulls’ 110-102 road win at Indiana. I still have this game recorded on VHS 😂

I love watching these reaction videos because for 18-20 minutes you get to watch what I got to live personally growing up. When the GOAT debate comes up, there is never a doubt. MJ played both sides of the ball. Wish you could have seen how many times he had my full attention every game. Thanks for sharing.

Great reaction guys, good on you to not pause on everything or you would’ve had a hour reaction video for a 15 minute video. Good job noticing him not passing like Larry, it was because he had no one to pass to like Larry did. Also the best thing that Kobe picked up from MJ was to play for the fans. MJ knew when he came to your town, people were coming to see him. So he didn’t take the night off, unless he was really hurt and couldn’t give you the show you deserved.

What people don't realize just from his highlights is how good Jordan was defensively. He still is number one all time in blocks per game as a guard. (0.9) Jordan is 4th all time in steals. Jordan was All-Defensive First Team nine times (tied for first all time) and won Defensive Player of the Year in 1988. Oh...and he also won 10 scoring titles and was 6-0 in the Finals without even seeing a game 7
