It's interesting that although Andrew and Tristan are essentially 2 sides of the same coin, they are miles apart in how they deliver the message. Andrew is quite emphatic in his delivery and speaks to people on a much more general level but Tristan is speaking directly to you like a father imparting wisdom to their child.

They say things that make sense most of the time, but that doesn’t make them good people. All of their money comes from exploiting insecure/lonely men and manipulating women with daddy issues and they’re proud of it. Their lifestyle of attention seeking and controlling a herd of women and baby mamas isn’t one that most people would want.

just want to point out something, i completely disagree with the “reading is a waste of time”. it’s not, self-help books (with moderation, and actually taking notes and aplying what you learned into your life) are a must, and also, entertainment is not bad, balance is key, or you will exhaust yourself (THIS DOESNT MEAN TO WORK HARD), but for example, after what 15 hours of hard work, going to your job, cooking healthy food, meditating, journaling, going to the gym etc, i would say is a really good idea to rest and enjoy yourself, being that netflix, movies, reading, even playing games. stay strong bros!
@Danyruddy7
@Danyruddy7 Жыл бұрын
I used to think like you, but then a realized way before that self-help books won't help you, ironic. Reading the truth will help you and the truth is raw and is found in history, so whatever didn't happend is fiction and won't work. It's a different category.
@sourt9943
@sourt9943 Жыл бұрын
@@Danyruddy7 and what exactly is the truth? the truth is subjective, I guess the goal of most people is to live a fullfilling life, without any regret, and the best way to do it is by learning and experiencing, if you read other peoples experiences (the self-help books) you are learning. but i see your point, one must is philosophy, stoicism, socrates
@Danyruddy7
@Danyruddy7 Жыл бұрын
@@sourt9943 I'll keep what you said: other people experiences. And personally I think that's accurate. That is useful information. For me those are not self-help books. Those books are based in real facts and that's what a lot of people get it wrong, they are not self help books. Again, for me self-help books are fantasy stories that didn't happen in real life and the authors don't have intentions to help people, they only want to sell the book to earn money. We need facts because we operate in the real world. Otherwise is just to operate in our imagination. Titles like "The alchemist" are for kids.

If they broke up with you you shouldn’t take them back even if they’re the Virgin Mary. But if you broke up with them and they had a boyfriend after you it doesn’t mean you’re their second choice. It means they were trying to live their life. I think taking ex’s back is generally a bad idea but it can work either immediately after the breakup if you both realise it’s the wrong choice or with enough space and time if both are over the first relationship and have grown as people.

I agree on most of the things he’s saying, but I wanna know why reading is a waste of time? It helps me think and relate to things in life when they happen.

It depends, reading is very important for many things like flying an airplane, psychology, medicine, etc. If you want to become rich it may not be helpful in the short run. Or reading lots of self-help books and then doing nothing is almost like watching tv. In my experience, I believe self-help books are very helpful if you don’t have anyone to talk to or follow but once you read that book it is done. You don’t need to read more, most of these books tell you the same story over and over with different words and you have to move on.

the full context of the quote was reading is a waste of time if you think it will make you rich. in general, he believes its a higher form of entertainment than most TV, and that it does make you smarter, but that it will not make you richer

The idea that reading is like entertainment is partly true. But such statements cannot be taken uncritically. Warren Buffet reads over 100 pages of text every morning, it's arguable that he's from a different generation than Tate, but it sure has a huge long-term impact on his status in life. He is good at it, which makes him read faster, which makes him acquire knowledge more effectively. In addition, it is scientifically proven that reading stimulates the brain and increases the level of intelligence. By reading regularly every night before bed, the mind is sharper and more efficient the next day. It improves memory and cognition and may prevent Alzheimer's. Worth reading and gaining knowledge. Tate says this from the level of a person situated as the offspring of a very intelligent father. If you have an IQ below 130, it is worth reading reputable books every day, and no one will tell me that it is a waste of time.

Reading is good but it is not a substitute for action, we can get deluded into thinking we are being productive by over reading and getting into a state of analyst paralysis.

I agree completely with the message however I dont think reading is a waste of time. You can even look it up, most rich people read much more then lower income individuals do and attribute a lot of their success to what they've learned from books.

Unlesss you have access to multiple planes that can be flying to different destinations at the same time. Then have access to underground tunnels upon landing you cant disappear. Ive thought this out lol. With cell phones and satelites no one can disappear.

So with everything the boys say remember to fine tune it and use it as advice & guidance not do or die life mottos.. especially with women because we want to be creating healthy relationships and finding good people, you want build solid friends for life. Like not everyone is good but there are people out there who will treat you better then your own family.. and losing them because you dont want to be in a relationship sucks. The whole point of being in a relationship should be like making friends its to have people you care about, maybe love and support each other where you can help them for the care they show you. Like I love the be strong mindset but we need to be good and strong as men and promote more good. God knows we need more good in this world.

@@bluegiant13 okay mr simp what if your in a 5 year relationship and your in different spots in life. You want something different but you love each other. and want to see the best for the other. Wouldnt you rather leave each other instead of ruining your relationship friendship and everything and maybe 30 years from now youll meet her again. Her having grown up and you even if shes just a friend wouldnt you rather have that then trashing and ditching everyone you meet and spend time with in your life? Doesnt have to be 30 years but in 10 or 20 do you know where youll be then? Cheating, lying stealing ya ya is all different but if you build better relationships stronger relationships maybe they can last a lifetime

@@austin7118 totally agree anyone who disagrees is a "simp" for the tate brothers. Now they are smart and do say a lot of useful things but the non reading thing is literally stupid like grade A dumb, all the most known billionaires read every day for success and they are already rich and yeah the ex thing this sheep are listening to two millionaires in there early 30s smashing models but when they are older alone and sad what will it get them? i like the tate boys but these idiots on here listen to every word like its gospel and think there life will pan out the same way. learn to take in knowledge and learn to call bullshit on the things you truly believe as bullshit because the tate boys are just men and spew a lot of it.
