The further you go into professional basketball the more height becomes a huge advantage. That's why you barely see any guys under 6ft in the NBA. Defenses can hide you as much as they can but you can have all the heart in the world 5'10 vs a world class 6'7 guy...goooood luck

Loved the inside look at the tryout. Tristan acquitted himself quite well. Overall very informative and enjoyable.
@lowdallasgaming4 ай бұрын
We can talk about the turnovers, of course, but Tristan literally had steals, caused them to turn over the ball,made threes, crazy layups, and he facilitated the ball very well as a leading point guard. Let’s not forget what i like most… telling the team to get back on defense after a miss. Literally went undefeated and also showed respect by saying 100% sir. Listen to what the GM said about him.. almost flawless.. He was all around the best player out there, and I believe that they need to go ahead and draft him and let him play some games. He needs to be a G league player, but my honest opinion after watching him so many years he needs to be in the league. KZbin Hooper is an understatement.

He had to have made the team no question..bro was ballin, vocal, making most of the shots that he takes, good court vision, not a a lot of assists but he played his game. Tristan has always been more of a scoring guard. That's where he really shines.

what do you guys think, did he make it?
@EJ_IS_FROM_AUSTRALIA4 ай бұрын
I'd say he made it, the only thing I'm not entirely sure is the NBA, cause he was being the leader and being the big man while being the smallest, the NBA has many like there like him, but it also has many more better than him. So if he made the NBA, I feel like he'd struggle, but I'd say he might have it in the bag.

he deserves a training camp invite in my opinion, but it depends on whether or not the bulls GM feels like it's worth the time to sign him onto the training camp squad

@@fozziclan6639 well it's a private invite so they invited the best from each state so unless everyone just went to shit than no and even if they were T Jess had showed he was the leader and willing and able to play anyone bigger or smaller, worse or better and they didn't announce who made it or not why would you know?
@tainanking4 ай бұрын
@@fozziclan6639that’s not actually true. A lot of g leaguers are nba guys that are well beyond their prime or some delusional guys that might even play below euroLeague tier in Europe. Most g leaguers don’t get a real shot. The ones that do are actual draft picks so they give them pt.

who would bring in tickets but he most likely will make less on a g league team compare to youtube at the end of the day everyone trying to pay the bills
@RQ.1404 ай бұрын
I like that he is loud and heads up on defense, he lacks pro length but his effort, awareness, and communication is good, though his size is gonna limit what he could do as a on ball defender he seems to understand team defense... As far as offensively he has good touch on his around the rim stuff and seems to be a solid not great but solid longer range shot, willing (and fairly skillful) passer and good kinda shifty quick ball handler who can regain his handle even when it is bothered, atleast against this kinda competition. His best trait in my opinion is his leadership and the passion he plays with, whatever level is the top that he can compete at he will bring a winning attitude and alot of effort.

100% the issue, at that height you have to be a genetic freak to make it to the league which we've seen a few times. TJ would need to be 6'4+ with the same skillset to have a shot
