I like both shawn and camila both so im happy about new music . You should check out Bam Bam by Camila/Ed Sheeran and Shawns new song , when you're gone, drops the 31st which he already sang live . Judging by all the songs and lyrics seems like Shawn may have given up on things and He seems to regret letting her go and misses her(according to his new song). But in Bam Bam Camila was sad it didn't work out but now shes dancing through the pain of the break up and keeping busy . Its interesting seeing the two differnt takes on things. Camila recently said she still loves him and them having different priorities led to the break up. Maybe one wanted to settle/slow down one didn't..who knows🤷‍♀️. Well , were in for some great songs ahead , hope they both are really doing well. Interesting fact ... shawn said that live you watched took hours to film so im sure that's why he didn't have physical emotion.. cant imagine how many times he had to try and sing it. 💔

I'm trying to get through the fallout of a REALLY rough break up. I didn't know what I was clicking on except that it's a new Tristan video! Yay! And when he started introducing the song I reeeeeallly started to second guess if I should click off. But new Tristan video. Sooo I have to watch. I tried to stay a little distracted while the song played so I could observe but not relate and start getting emotional. Was doing decent until it was the live version. Then it started to hit me a lot. Man.. what a sad and pretty song. Tristan's analysis and breakdowns were the only thing helping me get through this without falling into my feelings. Definitely glad I stuck it out to watch but damn it was a close one lmao. My heart goes out to ya, Tristan. And Shawn. And everyone else going through it. Breakups and heartbreak and all of it sucks lol. Thanks for the videos. They've been a huge help to keep me singing which is what keeps me above water in shitty times.

Ive never heard the live version and i have to say I'm in love, how could such a masterpiece exist and im just finding out about this. Two really great artist i think are very underrated is Munn and Delaine Leclerc (hopefully i didnt butcher the spellings XD), both of their music is beautiful even more so when they collab, if you havent i think you should definitely check them out!

This is an older video now so I don’t know if you will even see this post at all, but listening to your comments on Shawn’s voice on this one made me think of how he and Ariana Grande have the same vocal coach and you can hear it in the development of both of their voices which made me think about how Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, Geoff Tate, and Ann Wilson (and more) had the same vocal coach ( David “The Maestro” Kyle) and you could/can for sure hear the techniques and style in their voices as well - which made me think that would be an interesting deep dive for someone in the singing space on KZbin to take : vocal coaches and the sounds of their students and the influence those voices have had on the mainstream sounds we hear on the radio in different era’s, etc. The sound of todays singers is so very different from past era’s … the way vowels are formed in particular. Anyhow …. Ya. 😃
