Is there one lol I'm using cali to plan days and using waypoints to make it take me on certain roads etc Cheers for any info And I'm at that point in planning do I do a loop back to santander or from Andorra head towards calais 🤔🤔🤔

I tried the free version of Calimoto last weekend. I selected a 90 mile circular route. first half was great then it decided to put me into a continuous figure of eight for the next 5 miles or so. It also kept telling me to take the next left (or right) which in reality was a bend in the road. I would suggest to all to be wary when using it. Maybe the paid version is better.

Another great one, quick question picking up a gs1250, what are the best tyres you've found for all season road use. Cheers.
@teapotone4 жыл бұрын
Hi Glenn, I’ve used loads of different ones and I appreciate tyre choice is really a personal thing, but for me it comes down to 2 on the GS - the Michelin Road 5 Trails and the Dunlop Roadsmart 3’s. I think both tyres give fantastic grip, awesome feel and feedback, they turn slightly slower I feel which is something I prefer, and they both heat up incredibly quickly. The only discernible difference I notice is I get slightly more mileage out of a rear with the Michelin’s - I usually get around 5-7K miles out a rear with the Dunlop’s, and I get around 5.5-7.5k miles out the Michelin’s. That’s based on 3 sets of each over the last 2yrs

@norriemasson40804 жыл бұрын
Martin Wood the T’s are a good quality Fruit of the Loom brand I ordered a size bigger than normal but should’ve stayed with a large. The reason I did that was I found his last merch supplier tee spring T shirts to be very neat fitting.

Hi Bruce,I love your channel since watching the RTW trip! Inspirational man. I did a big 9500km trip across Europe and gopro footage seems a bit blurry. Your video quality seems really good. Awesome roads. It's interesting to see the different riding styles. Some lean the bike into corners and keep their body more upright, some lean with the same angle as the bike while others (thinking of AMC) lean their body forward into the corner and push the bike more upright. I'm thinking the latter is more MotoGP style but what is the correct way for enthusiasts? I guess it's what is more comfortable for the individual.
@sleepindragon1794 жыл бұрын
For those bikes and those road speeds I would just lean with the bike. I don't think you need to hang off the machine to get round any of those corners unless you are really pushing.

I like the episode but could you have a straw pole of your major fans re the canned music that cuts in? I got to the point at which I was anticipating it and taking my headphones off. It was a bit of a spoiler for me. However, everything else great. I wouldn't do group tours like your one, I'm not the type of biker for that. But I do like the group spirit. Please, if you do these tours in future, feature the accommodation and food more. It's a bit more interesting than a to b stuff with nothing to say and a soundtrack of dodgy muzak.
