On the Secret Weapon, is the tank brush painted? I’m thinking of doing scallops like this on my 47 Chief. Did the frame in anti rust paint with a brush, it came out great! And if I scratch it or knock paint off, easy fix. Going for a poor man hot rod vibe. Your bikes all look great! I have a soft spot for trumpys. My first proper bike was 68 Trophy I rode around Europe in early 90s. Might get another one day.

Hi . The tank had old paint when I found it ,,, so I’m not sure if it’s sprayed or brushed? .. someone had cut the panels, and did the reverse sheet metal welding to get that concave on both sides ,,, all I had done was the black and white pin striping and added the red vintage water slide triumph decal . But I think spraying it with paint would be the way to go if I were gonna do it .. . Tape it off and rattle can it . Cheers 🍻

Hi ,, the tank is a stock triumph tank that someone cut the side panals out of and flipped them inside out , then rewelded them back on … I believe it actually is a pre unit tank .
