That is a bad ass frame jig like you say it's overkill. Nicely made, can't wait to see the progress keep up the good work.👍

I love that shop. Didn't realize you could go that far over on the bore.... means I have more good cylinders than I thought !

Thanks - this is quality work, love it. The jig is SOLID, my only concern would be the thickness of the concrete floor below it ;)

Hello Mr Dirty Shirt. I was wondering if the tappets in this video go to a 66 650.I'm always trying to learn the differences between the 650 parts. I read somewhere the 66 used a one year only tappet with a big cutout that flowed constant oil and had some type of metering device.I'm not sure where. Then they say the 67 and later have a small cut out to limit the oil flow by creating a timed oil port. They say if you put 66 tappets in any engine without a metering device you'll create a constant low oil pressure problem.I never worked on a 66.I was hoping to identify these parts to avoid a problem. Thanks.Your channel is always one of the first I look for.

Spite is a great motivator. That rig you're making is impressive. I have a cylinder question for you. My 64 TR6 has a 2 inch chunk of broken fin on the cylinder barrels. I'd like to fix it when I have a reason to take the top end off. I figure I'll buy a brand new standard bore cylinder barrel from one of those British companies that still makes them. That seems like a cheaper option than repairing the current one. (I don't have the piece of broken off fin if that matters.) Have you used those aftermarket cylinders before? Or should I find a used one somewhere?
