Does it for me Ian , like the simple but very clever way of creating a template using tape , foil and Vaseline. Also big up to you for fitting your own tyre , what a pain in the arse that can be 👍🏻 . Nice looking toolbox 🧰 too 😜

cheers mate!- yeah i still don't like fitting tyres!!! need to work on my technique (or lack of!) it's a bloody workout wrestling with them!

Nice to see you back mate... Looking forward to the results of this little Project, as I've been contemplating one of the Maverick Low Profile Seats for my own America, so it'll be interesting how this turns out.... Best Wishes J.C✌

Hi mate! I'll be cracking on with this again soon! I had a Maverick seat that I was lucky enough to get cheap off ebay- and it was very good- but the pan did crack sadly hence the chopped original and this attempt- just to save some money!! I love their ribbed seat!!!

Nice work on the pan I bet it will work out great!

good to give yourself extra glass to keep the options open but I think a nice mounting tab extension would look badass
@johnnycactus05 жыл бұрын
i think you are right buddy! nice lil' tab- plus it'll probably make covering it a whole lot easier!!!

Nice one Ian, I've never really done much fibreglassing, must give it a go sometime, It's my dad's fault as he bought me up thinking why would you ever want something made out of the same thing as a Reliant Robin, lol, By the way the bike looked great yesterday at Mackies, I didn't really get chance to say anything about it, It makes all your hard work worthwhile when folk stand and really look at ya bike as I saw lots doing yesterday, c u soon and RSM8.

love a bit of slade!- caused a copyright claim though!- must turn down the radio!!
@k1ckyscotland9885 жыл бұрын
Was worried about that. That particular song was late 70s I think,do you have to go back as far as Mozart to dodge the copyright thing?,there must be a cutoff point somewhere.
