I just moved to the Medford area, Central Point to be exact. I’ve decided to purchase a t 120 today. I looked up reviews and found this one among the others. Now that I know you are from the same area, I will be following. I lived in SW Portland for 30 years before re locating to So. Oregon. The t-120 is the smartest looking bike out there, especially the “black” version. I found a smokin’ deal and will be getting the SW Motech legend series luggage system. This set up is perfect in every way. In the meantime, I will be checking out all the possibilities , ideas from all the KZbin postings. Cheers

I bought the t120 in Medford in January! Rode it 5 1/2 hours home. Best day ever.

So funny watching your videos, because I ride Sauvie Island at least once a week. Great footage! Oddly familiar... Thanks for the good work.

Sauvie Island is one of my favorite places to ride too. I learned to ride on a Kawasaki LTD 440 from party to party out there in the late 80’s! I’m sure we will pass each other sometime this summer! ‘04 Thruxton

Just dropping a note, we have so many similarities including Vespa GTS and 2017 Bonneville T-120! Looking forward to following along , happy riding

I live in Germany, I bought the 13.5 litre set. I mounted them 2 weeks ago. The supports are quality, easy to carry if you decide to take the case with you. They look nice, better than those hard cases that disfigure the aesthetics of the Bonnie.

Agreed. I just wish they had a hand strap at the top for walking around with them... I assume it'd be easy to rig one up though.

Have you tried the larger volume legend bag ? Does it hit the exhaust and:or melt ?

I bought the left-side Legend bag and rack for my Triumph Scrambler 1200. Great bags. I've yet to see anything that matches the 'vibe' of the modern classics as well as these bags. I agree that they're not quick to open/close, and I do wish there was a simple way to lock them... but everything's a trade-off I suppose.

I've got some roll top bags too on one of my bikes and they are great, easy and I love them. I do however find myself trying to stuff in too much gear, ( mostly a banana or bread loaf) and the effect is not enough rolls on the bag closure and a bit of water leak when raining. I should learn to tighten my belt I guess.😂 As for the hat, I lost mine today so am a bit sad😢. I loved that hat. Ps love your film, it's wonderful 😊

I bought the right side bracket and small bag for my T120. The bike came with the Triumph leather panniers, but I think they look dumb, so I took them off and ride around with the one SW Motech bag for my wallet, hat and occasional takeout bag. It looks so much better on the bike than those goofy panniers. I really like it. I ordered mine off the SW-Motch site and it took almost 4 weeks for the bag and hardware to get to me. Apparently they didn't have any brackets in N. America and had to ship it from Germany. I'm guessing they had to make the bracket as well. I don't know if that's a one time thing, or if that's standard procedure for SW-Motech. The website was up front about the delay when I purchased, so I can't be mad. It's nice that your Triumph dealer has them in stock. If I decide to get the left side, I'll contact your dealer and see if I can get it shipped to me faster than SW-Motech can.

I think I'm gonna go that same route and get me one small bag for when I'm just putzing around the city, and attach some sort of shoulder strap to it. Seems like it'd be a perfect city solution.

Nice bags, I fitted a right side smaller one to my T100 just for some tools, puncture repair kit etc (converted tubeless wheels). Also got a cheap waterproof rucksack cover to slip over, keeps the road crud off them. Nice channel 👍

@@BugMotoChannel I got a shop to do it, Central Wheel Components here in the UK. Best £350 I have spent on the bike. No pressure loss in the last four months since doing it and peace of mind in case of punctures.

I have the same bags on my T120. Mine came with inner dry bags. They compliment the bike well in my opinion. I also added the legend gear rolltop backpack, which doubles as a Tailbag. Enough space for a road trip.

Nelson-Rigg has a setup similar to that. They're supposed to be waterproof, etc., etc. I need to find a dealer having a test ride day. I want to compare the T-120 with the Speedmaster.
@mike9250
@mike9250 6 ай бұрын
Did you end up buying yet? If you do alot of 2 up riding, go with the speedmaster. If you ride solo more, I'd say to get the T120. Same engine, but the speedmaster is heavier and a little less maneuverable.

Well, I sold the Bonneville but was able to attach one of the bags on my Scrambler. The bags come with a waterproof, removable liner, so rain isn't much of an issue. The bag itself gets wet, but it doesn't cause any issues.
