Interesting video. I had a Triumph 955 after owning a Kawasaki Ninja. The ability to change direction and corner with the Triumph triple was how it responded so quickly. The Ninja was slower to respond in cornering but the acceleration of the 4 was like being shot out of a cannon. Now on a vee twin I do miss the punch of a Kawa 4 cylinder. I bleed green.

Have you ever ridden a bike? A patch of sand isn't going to send you flying off the road. It would have to be a LOT of sand (like, enough that you could probably see it coming and react). Before I started street riding, I used to think any little hazard would make you crash too. But you'd be surprised what they can handle. There are no tracks where you can do this type of riding, they don't put tracks in canyons or mountains. Most of the other people you see are there for the same reason - because it's FUN. You should try it sometime. Just know your limits and ride/drive within them. Stop being a nanny and trying to put everything in a safe, tightly regulated little box. Life with no danger isn't worth living. You'll be safe and comfy in your car with the AC and airbags, don't worry about others.

Yes, I went on a splurge, and bought an almost new 2008 BMW K1200S, Spring of 2023. I cannot comprehend the scenes on the screen, I can only manage a tiny fraction of that on the K1200S. I also have a '95 K75. I can ride the K75 faster, and harder than the K1200S. This video reminds me why that I said for years that i would never buy a crotch rocket. I'm into pleasant weather, sparse traffic, great scenery, the stuff that makes for a relaxing ride. I've hit 3 digits a few times on the K1200S, that too reminds me why me why the old K75 makes for a relaxing ride..
