PS Forgot to mention: please use a miter box when cutting hoses, so you'll get a nice straight, clean cut.

Or run a new fuel line in stainless or copper-nickel. Then flare for those brass fittings.

I considered a copper replacement, but was concerned that being copper it may conduct more heat from the exhaust, which runs along side. Stainless is an excellent idea though. Thanks

@@Rust_in_Time the stainless is just hard to flare, but there are flaring tools that will do it

Compressed air would have been useful for some of these processes.

Didn't have any luck trying to use it to clear the blockage unfortunately
