I followed your instructions exactly and bent the mounting plate exactly as you did it. The horn then fitted perfectly into the space provided. I also sprayed everything black. Now my Triumph Rocket 3 GT sounds much better. Thank you for your support.

I bought the split Denali sound bomb horn and just couldn’t see where I could fit the two parts which is odd as they sell a harness for the Rocket. Expect it was for the old style of Rocket. Anyway I bought the mini and it fits great. The split one I’ll install on my Sprint ST daily commuter as there’s a ton room behind the fairings. Thanks for sharing your installation 👍🏻

Just put my Soundbomb in - little trouble bending the bracket, but got it done ✅ - what an improvement for my GT - thanks a ton!!!

I think if you bend the first bracket to how you want it and then bend the other bracket the same it would be a bit more rigid than just one.

Nice!! Other than the two wires ... Did you need to make sure the bracket was grounded to the bike's frame by scraping away a bit of the black paint under the bolt? Just curious.

Thank you for posting this. Question; Do you think the proximity to the engine will melt the plastic ? The OEM horn is all metal. May be not an issue as the fans in the front will be blowing air straight to the horn. Just wanted to know based on your experience

hi, ye it came from Total Tools, I've had it a couple of years and it works very well on the Rocket, in fact I used it just today. I just lift both wheels about 50mm off the floor and it's so much easier to clean the wheels it's worth it just for that. I think it was about $200, but well worth the money, it's very solid (slide it under the Rocket from the opposite side to the side stand and as far back as poss).

@@Carlshandlebarsandholidays electric cables are very exact, but it is ok for now. i hope, it will last.the horn is only modification i did on my gt. nothing else is needed. the bike is simply perfect!

A relay is not needed for the SoundBomb Mini, but is required for Denali's larger Air Horns like the SoundBomb Compact or SoundBomb Split. Both of those come with a relay and there's a Plug N Play Horn Wiring Harness available if you don't want to make your own horn harness. The Air Horns are much higher draw than electromagnetic horns so they cannot go on the stock wires.

Pathetic penny pinching by Triumph especially when you consider that the bikes don't come cheap in the first place. Safety as well because the daft peep-peep horns just don't carry into cars' interiors, Even the wife's Fiesta sounded better. - I fitted an Oxford Foghorn to my T100 because the original horn sounded so silly. Soundbomb looked a bit too big for the space available.
