I believe there's an ECU update for the stalling issue and also for the unsteady RPM meter during standstill. You can inquire your nearest service centers about this.

I am seriously considering chopping in my Speed Twin 1200 for the Scrambler 400 as my last bike due to health and age issues. But I should really take whichever one I have and go back up to Richmond - last there in the '80's and it looks like not much has changed (a good thing). I often think of the lovely roads in the area, that I learned to drive on, and wish I could ride them now. I'll have to see about a B&B over a long weekend up there - just have to find the right roads then, but I guess IIRC that wouldn't be too difficult!

I would say most bikes cut out in that situation especially now days running so lean for emissions below 3k revs 😮 and alot of them cut the fuel completely on deceleration 😅

Definitely you, that wasn't a 3rd gear corner on a 400 single.

Can't see, but if you pulled the clutch and then it stalled, that's the issue with the 400. It should be fixed by now, just go to y our dealer and have your ECU software updated.

It’s fixed now. In India it is ecu update 204.

Nice video. I've been told that the immobiliser warning light is due to a software glitch and should be sorted at first service when Triumph has a fix! Not getting rid of any of my other bikes; this is a great addition!
