Hii Bosky😊 one of our mates commented about the stuck of the economy at 30... I too facing that after an update. I used to fill my tank once the reserve tank or the low fuel indicator turned on, I got 28.9 on city roads but the economy itself shows 30(stuck)😅. And the next thing I bought is my Scrambler 400x on Jan 12, 2024, recently I observed that something was getting loose and hitting at the left side under the footpeg. I thought it was due to the chain and ran to the service. Then I was shocked😮 The technician thoroughly checked and said that it wasn't happening with the chain. It is addressed that my suspension went down and I need to adjust it. I asked him if a 4-month-old bike drove to 5400 KM's suspension worn out. For 10000 KM's I need to change it then? He said that there might be a mistake with the manufacturer or by my weight as I was weighed. I had my NS 200 BS4 2019. That suspension is super cool and I haven't changed or repaired even didn't adjust it yet! But for a 400 CC-built bike with international standards along with the fit and finish it isn't digestive. Just shared FYI.

Thats about what I thought. It's the right size & weight for challenging off road-slow tight-steep and everything else in between. Weight & size are your enemy off road especially on your own & especially in difficult conditions so as soon as I saw it I thought Triumph had nailed it. I have a Meteor 350 I use off road & even with standard tyres it does off road very well but obviously lacks a bit of ground clearance/suspension travel if you were going through some more difficult terrain but obviously you would need a bash plate & 50/50 tyres & take your time. But obviously the Triumph has similar dimension-less weight Meteor 350 190 kg on weigh bridge wet & Triumph 179 kg wet. That's a big weight saving & having sat on one you certainly notice it. The suspension felt very compliant & comfortable. Great review guys.

Introduction: Hi there, I’m from Mumbai, 43 years old, 5'6" in height, and pretty muscular. Moving the weight of the bike won’t be an issue for me. Previous Bike Ownership: I’ve owned and ridden bikes like the Pulsar 200, Unicorn, Karizma, Gixxer 150, and for the last 3 years, I’ve been riding a Suzuki Access. Daily Usage: My primary use for the bike will be commuting 5 days a week to and from the office. Occasionally, I will use it for urban touring. Bikes I’ve Liked: 1. Triumph Speed 400: I love the look of this bike. It’s the most beautiful I’ve seen. When I rode it, I felt it was both jerky and smooth, which leaves me conflicted, but I can't get over its aesthetics. 2. Hero (Maverick): I loved how it rides-it felt great on the road. However, its looks are a downer for me because it’s not retro enough. 3. Royal Enfield 350: I like it, but I’m uncertain about whether it’s the right choice for me. Request: What would you suggest considering my daily usage, preferences, and concerns with the above bikes? I also rode triumph 400 scram... It was nice to ride but a bit tall...

Now, Imagine Duke 390 (new one) having issues like tyre wobbling and change, Console malfunction within first 4000 km. People will lose their shit over it. And name calling and blasting KTM will begin. Same with VW/Skoda cars. Every machine has some issues. But people tend to react more frantically towards certain brands and docile towards some others.

Additionally, has the engine power loss issue in 2nd and 3rd gear been addressed after the latest update? Are there any specific adjustments or settings I should mention when booking the bike?

Test ride and choose. Commuting = 400X Touring = H450

Bhaiya I just bought this beautiful machine one week ago and I just completed 400kms and I want to ask some question , if you can answer please... 1. I want to get the PPF Coating on tank, should i get it done from showroom or karol bagh ? 2. Mine is giving 17 kms per litre average is same case happened with you ? 3. If I install the extra light from karol bagh or any other after market, Will the 5 year warranty become void ? 4. In rainfall season whole my back suspension and tyres gets muddy , what should I install ? 5. In rainy season the chain gets dry just bajaj thing which lubricant should i use ?
@bigbearbangalore2 ай бұрын
Congrats. PPF is your choice. I don't use it. Fuel economy will likely improve. Extra lights can void warranty. I know of no way to reduce mud splash. Maintain chain more frequently during monsoons and any lube is ok.

Need Help Bosky Sir !!! Looking to choose between Himalayan 450 and Triumph 400x. Heart says Himalayan as i was actually waiting for it since so many years but Triumph 400x has really confused me. Loved both while driving...Himmy has road presence and ego attached...Triumph is more simple and fun. I am usually a Non Off Roader, but planning for long distance travel...What u think sir? Heart OR Brain?
@bigbearbangalore6 ай бұрын
It's your heart and your head. Depends on what guides you in life. Either will be a good choice. I've posted longer form video on the differences some weeks ago. You may watch that for more clarity.

Thanks. So for touring what would be your best bet Himalayan or this Scrambler. Please comment.

In speed 400 you can adjust the headlights by just moving it up and down, is it also possible in the Scrambler? Great channel btw!!

Yes possible. Thanks.

I'm still experiencing stalling issues with my Scrambler at 4300 km, despite the service center updating the ECU for the second time. I believe the issue persists. Could it be related to the ECU or the engine oil? 😢

That's unusual. Raise a compliant to Bajaj and pursue firmly for a resolution.

Lovely video. I was also thinking of switching to sintered pads on my Scram 400. But I was thinking of doing it only on the front. Have you switched to sintered on front and back both or only front please? Thank you.

I've switched both.

RE Classic 350 Reborn OR Triumph 400X for daily office ride and weekend Highway or slightly Off roading, with Pillion Which is more comfortable for rider and pillion??
@bigbearbangalore4 ай бұрын
They are quite different to each other. I'd say very different. Test ride to know more. Ask the pillion about pillion comfort.

Hi Bosky, now that BMC has also launched the air filter for the Triumph 400s, I have a query and hope to gain some insight from you. The DNA air filter is also in the market along with BMC. Looking at their respective details, I noticed that the filtering efficiency of BMC is 97.5% while the DNA’s is 98-99%. Also the BMC can filter upto 7 microns and the DNA upto 5 microns. OEM is 10 microns from what I could gather. Not that these marginal differences matter in the day to day riding of an average motorcycle enthusiast like me, but curious to know. With difference of about ₹1200 with DNA at ₹5499 and BMC at ₹6699, would it be safe to assume that the DNA is the better air filter out of both? Thank you
@bigbearbangalore6 ай бұрын
May be. I haven't used DNA. And I am quite happy with BMC which I've been using for over 7 years on my different motorcycles.

It's a light and fast motorcycle. Ride it with care and learn and get better and enjoy the ride. Heat, noise and vibration are part of the deal.

Bosky, any recommendations for the brake levers for the Speed 400? There is just too much empty travel before it starts to bite. Would you recommend getting a RCB master cylinder kit to also help improve the braking?
@bigbearbangalore6 ай бұрын
I haven't noticed this issue and happy with the way it is. Besides I've switched to GALFER semi-sintwred brake pads from the organic OEM pads.
@gurucharanchundi6 ай бұрын
@@bigbearbangalore Yes Bosky am aware of the shift to Galfer pads. The pads on my Speed 400 come with sintered ones as you know. No complaints about the braking but just that I have to pull the lever in quite a bit before it feels like the brakes are being engaged. That’s all

Hi, as a former Suzuki V-Strom 650 owner, could you please share if the Scarmbler 400x engine runs hotter than the V-Strom. I would like to trade the V-Strom for something lighter and easier to service. Thank you!
@bigbearbangalore6 ай бұрын
Yes the 400X appears to radiate more heat than the V650. Practically speaking and not quoting temp gauges or infra red sensor readings.

But the BLR service centres treat normal people differently. They charge around 2k for these fork seal replacements. Even if they fail just because of dust build up.
