Get a 2019 to 2023 because they have better components and a better display. The 2019 has the cat in front though.

I did switch from a 900 to this and love it. The XE is the off road version (at 220+Kg, really?) and the X is more road focused and designed to be much closer to the 900 Street Scrambler than the outgoing XC model which is why it appealed to me. It is slightly taller than the 900 but much less than the XE but I'm well over 6ft so seat height is never an issue for me. I really liked the 900 and the 1200 is just a slightly bigger version with the punch of the 1200 motor. Once you get used to the slightly slower steering of the 21" front wheel it can be chucked around with ease and the brakes are more than up to the job despite coming in for a slating by many for not being Brembo premium items. If they work who cares! A great bike IMO.👍

Nope. I have a 2022 1200XC, and it doesn’t burn my leg. Get warm but no burning. Of course you have to keep your leg from touching but if you’re wearing long pants it still won’t burn. Super looking bike, I love mine. Ride safe everyone.
