TRIUMPH SPEED 400 2nd Service cost shocked me🤯| This is the service cost of Speed 400 🤯🔥

Hi guys,
In this video I am sharing 2nd free service (1 year/16k kms) cost of Triumph Speed 400. In addition to the general service following parts were replaced:- - - Left side mirror
Rear left indicator
Following were a part of regular service:
2Ltrs Engine oil
Service kit
Oil filter
Total cost of Service is 2525/- excluding mirror and indicator cost

Hello, I'm looking for a bike under 3 lakhs and confused between cb 350 and speed 400. Since you now own both the motorcycle I think you are best suitable to clear my dilemma. My primary usage will be commuting and occasional rides. I want relaxed, comfortable riding bike with nice suspension. I really like both the bikes. Main concern regarding speed 400 is of fuel economy which according to users ranges from 20 kmpl to 35 kmpl, while cb 350 numbers range from 26 to 43 kmpl. So I somewhat get thrown back for speed 400. i expect around 30-35 kmpl for such machines. Lookwise I liked cb 350 better. Also I feel cb 350 is more comfortable for pillion (also comes with ladies footrest) Im concerned about reported wobbling issue in cb350, also cb350 comes with chrome elements which will rust after some years. Im confused on how and what to choose between these two. Can you help me choosing (slightly)

Hello bro, thank you for asking. I am not sure how to answer your query but will try to mention what I like in each bike: Power: Speed is very powerful but for city use you would appreciate cb350 moderate power delivery which in my opinion very city friendly. Comfort: cb350 has better and accessible seat for rider and pillion although Speed suspension is superior but still cb350 is more comfortable. Mileage: hands down cb350 is better which returns between 33-37kmpl in city ( you can watch my mileage test video for details) whereas Speed I could see 29kmpl at the max in city. Highway range: cb350 is better as it has 15ltrs tank which should give abt 600kms range on highway. Maintenance: hands down it is Speed. It cost almost 50% to cb350. Parts cost is more or less similar thanks to Bajaj partnering with Triumph. So if power, performance and low service cost is what you are looking for then Speed is the bike. Cb350 on the other hand can make up by delivering better fuel economy. For example if you travel 6000kms in 6months then cb350 would require 181ltrs of Petrol whereas Speed would consume 207ltrs which is similar to the cost of service for cb350. So for you if power is not what you want then cb350 is a better choice. Hope my reply helps.

That cheap HP Prolube is definitely not a very good oil. I switched it to the Motul 300V2 after the first service. It was a day and night difference 1. Superb heat management 2. Vibration levels have considerably decreased. 3. Generally able to maintain greater speeds above 120 on the speedometer without experiencing any strain. 4. The gears shift are super smooth 5. The bike seems more eager to shoot ahead than before. 6. The radiator fan barely kicks in stop and go traffic

Hi Shubham, Maine 4200kms per second service karayi but 1year over ho Gaya tha is liye service karani padi. Is beech koi kaam nahi karaya.

Speed 400 looks like a small bike in front of CB 350. CB looks massive with rear tyre and Tank. But power wise 400 has advantage. Honda have one disadvantage that its service cost is premium. But it’s Honda engine so, no need to worry about its refinement and maintenance.

Hi bro, so far both the bikes have seen free service only hence can’t say with data but I do have experience with Triumph and can say that probably it will have higher labour cost but again it is an assumption so not sure. What is your review on HP Prolube oil which the service center is using? Do you think that the vibrations and gear shift get harder sooner than than the service interval of 16k. Can we ask them to put same grade and specifications engine oil from different brand, something like a Motul 7100 without warranty void/issues.

Hi Ketan, I do not have any comparison experience so far but have seen a comment from one owner who says Mitul is a better alternative to this and gives a better ride and feel. But I do not have any experience with it so far so cannot validate it. We must get the bike serviced at authorised centre s only and they will not use anything other that the one prescribed by the company. You can try it after the warranty period is over.

Ride your bike for 16k kms on same oil and after the 3 free service also ask them to change your engine 😂😂... manufacturers will tell you anything to show you reduced service cost..oil can't go beyond 7 to 9k i don't care even if you are putting in gold. Honda is a reputed manufacturer who doesn't fall for such cheap marketing..if you can't afford the highness don't buy it..that's their attitude..

Exactly! I own One I clearly don't believe that engine oil would last that long. Plus that shit HP Lube Engine oil is just worst. I shifted to Castrol Power 1 Ultimate right after 7k. This is the engine oil they use in international market in all of their bikes including speed/scrambler.

If it is only comfort then cb350 feels more comfortable. Clutch is lighter, gear shifts are smooth, seating eargo is very neutral. All these makes cb350 more comfortable for day to day rides. Hope this helps. Do let me know Shamim.

I got my number plate from the dealer itself. You should contact them. And I generated online RC through mparivahan app.
