Turn the handle and check the distance between the handle bar and tank. At same spot the distance must be exactly same if there is variation in distance then there is most likely a bend.

The extra Lock drums received along with the Bike at the time of delivery does not match the bore of the Top Box. You are forced to use the separate lock drums received along with Top Box with a separate key. I have already raised this issue with Triumph, maybe in future you will have a top box with same size bore to fit the lock drums and not use two separate keys one for bike and other for top box.

Very good & detailed information. Good Point revealed about the Sump guard, I was planning to install the metal sump guard but after watching your video I won't go for it. Please provide information about the accessory seat, is it soft & does it help to reduce butt pain for long rides. My butt pains on stock seat after 70Km of continuous ride hence i am planning to either buy this accessory seat or add some memory foam or gel seat to the stock seat.

Metal Sump Guard required if you face too heavy potholes only. Furthermore this bike is not suitable for offroad. There are two options for Seat, one is Speed 400 comfort seat available as accessory, 2nd is Scrambler Comfort split seats available as accessory. Both fit on Speed. Everyday riding and highway is more comfortable than the stock seats on these however, nothing can match the Gel pad kept on seat.

Absolutely no change after visor installation. Visor is in place just to install my sticker other than that no actual use.

There is no readily available mount but you can fabricate one. You will need to experiment with it.

I had asked the main engineer about the center stand but there are no readily made mounts on the chassis for center stand. You will have to fabricate two mounts in the Indian jugaad way.

There should not be any problem fitting any after market top box on the OEM luggage rack. Shadows due to the headlight grill irritates me besides the OEM headlight grill is plastic

Do you have any idea about the mud splach kit and the twin pod silencer? they removed it from the catlog, and how much seat heigh will it increase i am 168cm. Your video was very nice and i fould only video in youtube with all the triumph accessories. When ever i go to service center they say accessories are not avalible. Thanks for that metal bash plate update I will delete it from my wish list. make video if you install silencer with its sound.

Thank you for the compliments. Not all Triumph original accessories are available at the service center. Some have not arrived till now, Mud Splash kit and twin pod silencer among them. Also the ones that have arrived, arrive in very small numbers. If the demand is 100 they receive 2. And when they receive them it is sold immediately. The people who have come for servicing take it. Triumph service center is en route my commute so I drop by almost 3 times in a week to check out. I have built a repo around them so they even call me when they get a new accessory in stock. 168cm height should not have any problem riding with either seats, you wont be able to flat foot both legs at a time though. Single pod silencer muffler is available for 8500, you can expect twin pod muffler at 12k.

The stock mirrors are not expensive. The mirrors in accessory are CNC finish metal and hence expensive. I have also installed the CNC mirrors after the video was shot.

The OEM luggage rack is available on authorised service center only. There is no online store. After market brands available are Zana, Carbon Racing, Moto Torque, etc. The closest to OEM is available from LCB.

The Service Center reported that insurance claim may take upto a week for the surveyor to come and you need to leave the bike at the service center. My bike was brand new, just a day old. I said no insurance. Regardless, I had to any case pay 2000 for insurance claim processing fee which also does not include labour.

Yes, you have that option open. But, no matter how much I instruct the local mechanic to not use greasy hands on my bike they wouldn't listen. The Triumph technicians are trained to not use greasy hands. Besides some accessories need to instructions, Triumph engineer is available to guide them for eg. Sump Guard, Lower Engine Bars, Front indicators. There is no instruction guide along with any part.

Bunch of bull shit, The people in most new triumph dealerships have zero clue as to what's happening. Handle bent easily cause the speed 's handle made out of aluminum, should have replaced with scrambler's steel one.

When my bike had fallen, scrambler was not available for sale let alone its spares. Besides, Scrambler handlebar does not fit on Speed. The mount is different.
