Triumph speed 400 - Honest Review DONT buy without watching | Heating Issue | Console Issue

Hi Guys,
Negatives brought out were..
1. Eng check light not going off after starting up, esp during first
start of the day
2. Heating being pronounced, more than Dominar
3. Mudguards are poor by design, both front and back. Spray from
front on a wet road almost comes to your chest and face
4.vibrations beyond speeds of 120..Doesn't reassure you at speeds
beyond 120
5. Cramped seating..lf you are planning to go touring, rear
luggage rack is a must, even for solo rides, since luggage on the
pillion seat compromises riders sense of space n comfort
I bought this bike on 10th august. Till date i have completed 1800kms which includes highway and city driving, In this i faced few issues that i have discussed in this video. we have more positives also but if i discuss this video is more lengthy so i have only discussed what issues i faced till date. But trust me this is the best bike i have ever driven in this segment at present i have classic 350 2017, Thunderbird 500 2017, Dominar 400 2018 after all this i really love triumph speed 400. Nice feedback about the Triumph Speed 400👌 As it is a bike made by Bajaj and many components sourced like wiring, fuel system are from budget companies. So there is a chance you may face electrical issues. Even I faced start-up issues with my Dominar. Engine check light usually turns on when water enters during washing. This also happens with my CB 350RS after washing. Genuine feedback. Liquid cooled bikes are risky sometimes due to their intricate nature of cooling system. Even a rat bite can damage the liquid cooling wiring. That's why I bought a Honda CB350RS (Air-cooled)

coating on bendpipe is going off,mud guards arent providing any purpose,engine check light issue,un stability after 130 and vibrations after 7k rpm,mirrors and worst placement of cooling liquid tank which might easily break without bash plate,heating more than dominar 400 in traffic,apart from this bike is very wfm and he would still pick it with his eyes closed at its price.

Could the engine light issue be because of bad fuel? I had the same issue in my 390 when I put petrol from a bad place. They'll need to drain tank and force clean lot of parts to remove all particulates.

Bro it’s 400cc engine. It is not within 150 cc to have heat less ride. The bike is a roadster not a cruiser for long rides with luggage. Also this is 1st batch, it will have issues. Electrical issues can be fixed, and your issues can also be fixed when you raise it triumph.

Triumph suggests castrol but no one sure which castrol 10w40 or 10w50 for speed 400. For break squeaks i think we have to try high temperature grease, some grease will be there on the backside of pad and it is washed away by water, then it starts rusting & squeaking. My bike started squeaking few days after mudslush followed by waterwash. Those lines on the disk are due to disk pads, i think we have to request triumph for brembo diskpads during service

​@@strictlybikeryes but both r different category duke more sporty and have stiff suspension setup it will provide more high speed stability. Speed 400 have softer setup so not gud for 140+ speeds
