Great review! This was built primarily as a street bike with occasional use on track like the Super Duke. The Streetfighter was built as primarily a track bike with use on the street. Ducati wants to start a horsepower war with most its horsepower made at track rpm. More rpm means more horsepower but that horsepower arrives at peak rpm which is difficult on the street. I would buy a panigale over the Streetfighter if mostly for track. I would buy the Streetfighter if I could see more of the engine like nakeds should be vs a semi naked.

I was pretty set on trading my 2019 S1000R for the new 2021 model, but having owned a speedy before (2012) I think the 1200 speed triple has the numbers on paper to be the best in the class.

Love how it's still called RIDER MODE. Hooligan mode in my opinion. Like wheelies and sliding the rear about. Then it's definitely HOOLIGAN MODE.

Shame the front flyscreen is an option at that price it shouldve been added. Heated grips and sequential indicators also option and they not cheap. Add an exhaust to that list and you have topped 16k

I don't think they're in the US or UK yet. There's a couple really weird first rides in Japanese that have popped up over the past week. Bikes are arriving in Australia late this week.

Oh yeah!, can you say "Sprint RSGT"??... All NEW for 2022?? 😁 Not a bad idea. Maybe 'de-tune' it to around 160bhp for smoother spooling, cooler running+reliability, and make 6th gear a legit overdrive. Still pretty beastly!. Or just leave it HOT 🔥

6:06 Aprilia weight way off. Real world weight with full tank is 215 Kg. I weighed mine in Lbs and converted to Kg.

Sure, they are copying some Japanese bikes in the headlight department, but you cannot deny the specs. I will have one. I have a Street Triple and love it, this will be a nice upgrade from my 2013.

The spec sheet suggest that Triumph has a winner in super naked category. Triumph should consider making a four cylinder (v4 would be better) litre class sports bike and that will put Triumph in the elite league of exotic super bikes now dominated by Ducati and MV Augusta.

That's what I like about 2020 Speed, muscle look. They keep saying it's more road focused but all the changes makes it directed towards the track. For me looks like a street triple, lost the iconic look. But still will be a great bike for the right person👊🏿

It’s triumphs major fail with this bike. They’re so bland that’s it’s laughable. It’s not a bad looking bike at all. But a good tri tone or two tone could really make this bike pop. For some crazy ass reason they like to use the matte grey to showcase in the reveal...the most boring color ever.
