Triumph Sprint GT SE walk around

Three years on, I change motorcycles. Here is the bike in a walk around. She's not new and the Bonnie was traded, so here's a look at at bargain!
***For those interested, the Video is recorded on my old Veho Muvi, used in all the "Bonneville" vids. Its set at 59fps, at 7958kbps bit rate and 1280x720 picture size.

+786philb Not as much as I enjoyed your "twisty" ride over Rivington! I know that area very well. That ride shows a bit more of what the Sprint can do. She's a wonderful handling bike, even two up and with luggage!

Yep im pleased with the sprints capabilitys. Yet rarely using it to its best, Just nice knowing its there when you want it.

Many congratulations on the beautiful new bike. Certainly more appropriate for touring duties. Sad to see the Bonnie gone (I shall be getting a T100 fairly soon as I've always wanted one. Mind I only ride solo so it should do for most duties. The Sprint has a longer wheelbase and is a tad more top heavy but i'm sure you'll soon get the feel of that! I hope you enjoy many safe and happy miles together :-)

pgod1960 thanks, your a true gent. You will love the T100, solo she's ideal. I have a couple of vids in the editor. Lakes touring two up with all panniers on! Honestly, I am amazed at what Triumph have done with this bike, a great example of good engineering! No gadgets or gimmicks, just an honest motorcycle, built for touring but affordable without busting the bank!

Richard Seekins Yes, they are not "bendy" Tupperware boxes: for sure-) What impresses me is the handling with "everything on", its just lovely, smooth, responsive and agile. That's just with the Bosses hand luggage and a half potted sheep on Rye, for lunch and a gallon of Coffee:-)

I have one just the same. I do recomend you replace the OEM tyres ( BT021) as they suffer tramlining ( they did on the test bike and dont perform so well in the rain. Fit Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT's. What a difference they make :)

Richard Seekins thanks Richard, there's 3.5mm left on the front, consider Pilots on change. Tell you what, the Bonnie on Metzelers was a real tramliner! The Sprint's a real lady in comparison. If I was a motorcycle I'd marry her:-)

Lol 😁 I had a Thruxton just the same. I didn't keep it long enough to change the tyres though. Ride safe :-)
