Triumph Sprint ST1050 Nighteye upgrade : HOW TO

Video of me doing the nighteye / novsight upgrade to my sprint. This is the first time ive done the job so the time is how long it took me to do it including moving the camera and showing you guys.
Any comment or suggestions are welcome. Im happy to do more videos.
Tools required :
5mm allen key.
Stanley knife
Flathead screwdriver
19mm Socket. (to cut round)

What power rating LED bulbs did you use and did you use the same power bulb in all three positions or did you use a higher power bulb for the middle high beam? The middle bulb is a pig to change. But the difference is night and day compared to the std halogen bulbs. I have only replaced the outer bulbs so far on my Sprint. Still have to do the middle. Thanks for sharing how you did it.

How did you get on with these? Looking at possible upgrades for my sprint. Did these work on the road well especially at night? Good spread? Didnt dazzle oncoming drivers? Cheers!

@@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes only because if it was removed it would leave a hole in the side panel so left it there. Also means I wired the grips into the stock heated gri loom instead of wiring it to the battery :) pretty much the stock switch is just like a main isolator now

It’s no longer legal in the sense that it is now an MOT failure to add leds where original manufacture was not led. Just need to swap back for the MOT test.

How did you clip the bulb in with the h7 clip thing

Can get a picture for you if it helps buddy! The bulb will only go in one way due to the orientation of the hole, then it can be clipped in :)

Hi buddy, it was painted by dreamworks not long after registration. It's the racing yellow used on the daytona 675's. Rumour has it that if a triumph employee ordered a sprint they could have it in any colour on triumphs books.
