Nice. Street Triple is designed for twisty roads like these. Didn't know Malaysia was this beautiful.
@rn6758 жыл бұрын
its beautiful. sadly it is not being promoted enough

This is absolute madness - undertaking, overtaking, dozens of bikes swerving all over the road and in between cars. Totally reckless. Fun, but not the safest way to ride!

99% of road riders could never use the full potential of 1000 cc superbike on the the road, this power on a bike can olny be fully used to its maxium by top pro riders, and yes i do ride a superbike on the road and never really get chance to open it up

I see your not thr only one riding a STR in the group. I have a Street R 2014 is yours an R or regular model? nice twistys. Just tell your mate, mind the white stripes on the road. He crosses them frequently on his Beemer, while you ride the safer lines. Selamat dari Nederland.
@rn6758 жыл бұрын
+DaMaX74 Mine is the 2014 R model, just like yours. Too bad those Beemers were not my mates, they are just random bikers who I tailed along the way. I was quite worried with their lines too. All the other striples that you saw in this video are my mates where we ride on this twistys every weekend literally. bedankt voor het kijken.

+RN675 Aah okay.... Di Malasia orang2 omong bahasa atau nga? Saya suda hidup die Belanda 38 tahun. So I want to exercise the language again 😉. Have fun there and ride safe.

For daily commuting is it better the Triumph Street Triple or the S100R? thanks
@rn6758 жыл бұрын
+David Varela Street triple for sure. The engine character is just perfect for commuting. Torque is available everywhere in any RPM. you can be lazy with the gears.

+RN675 A group of Streets met a group of bmws? That's... is that normal in Kuala? I mean groups of people riding the same motorcycles? I had no idea Malaysia had this "western" style. Makes me wanna visit even more! Thank you for the details!

+Vespertili Kildem Do come. Buzz me if you are here. Where do you live? you owned a triumph? or a Beemer?
@VespertiliKildem8 жыл бұрын
+RN675 Oh I'm a bit distant my friend ahah, Italy. But I'll definitely plan to visit Malaysia at some point in my life. I do plan to buy the new Speed Triple R 2016, which came out March 5, basically 2 days ago ahah! It's a GREAT bike. I'm a bit... intimidated though, because it weighs about 207 kilos (full tank) and it's a 1000, and I come from a Ninja 250, so I'm kinda scared to own such a beast but.... fuck it, fear leads to failure.

That much more HP is only better in a straight line......you have to be very very ...Careful putting down all that power on twisty,unknown Public roads..
@rn6759 жыл бұрын
I've been riding on this twisty road for the past 20 yrs and practices defensive riding all the time to avoid unwanted things happen. Nevertheless, thanks for the concern amd advise.
@dmandhelen9 жыл бұрын
+RN675 what I mean is that the STR could keep up with the more powerful machines on the bends because of its lower power... It's more balanced than a full on sports bike ... I have a STR and love it .. And up to 100 mph it's as quick as anything round the twistys...:-).. Good video by the way ..
