Triumph Tiger 900 GT Review - The Positives

I recently passed my test and am torn between the Tiger 900 and the Tracer 9 GT plus. I rode last year's model Tracer this weekend but think i will go back to try the new one. I also haven't ridden the triumph yet.

Congrats on passing. One of the guys I ride with has a 2021 Tracer 900GT and loves it. We swapped bikes before and we both liked each others. That's a tough call. But the Yamaha does come with more standard features and accessories unless you go for the GT Pro. The Tracer is a beautiful bike, but definitely felt "bigger", but it also was snappier as well. If you could swing the money for a new Tracer, they now have adaptive cruise control!! That alone is a game changer right there. I love my cruise control, but it's annoying having to stop and restart it when someone slows down in front of me etc..

Hiya mate! I'm looking at getting a Tiger 900 GT low as well. I don't suppose you'd be able to make a video demonstrating your leg height when sat on the bike? I'm really short, at 5,4 with a 28-29 inch inseam, so finding a motorcycle that suits me well is a struggle at best. Hoping to get my wife on as a pillion so being able to be confident I won't drop the bike (or her) is important. Thanks mate!

Thank you for the review. Seriously considering a GT low, but wondering if I should get the standard, especially if I would need to "regular" seat anyway. Also, have you done any off-road with the stock tires?

Unfortunately I haven't done any off-roading with it. I mean I've driven through some gravel roads and hard packed small dirt, but I wouldn't even consider that off-road as they were flat and non-technical. I knew I wasn't going to use this bike for off-road when I bought it so the GT-Low wasn't a concern for me. But if you do plan on doing it, go for the Regular as the extra height clearance will give you peace of mind.

Thanks- am going to sit on a standard soon (loved the low when I sat on it- I am on the short side- 5'8")- also sat on a transalp for comparison- way higher than the gt low!@@Mudslidex1
