This video is part of a series covering the complete strip down and rebuild of a 1975 Triumph Trident T160 engine. This particular video discusses different piston rings and how they work before the piston rings are fitted to the pistons and the pistons are then fitted to the conrods in the engine, ready for the cylinder barrels to be fitted over them.

Dont you check the ring gaps in the cylinders ?

Should do, but didn't as the ring gaps are pre-set these days - the last few I checked were all spot on. Always good to double check though, even so. 👍

The emgo pistons don't look too bad , what is the comp ratio on them .

I believe that the pistons are the standard Triple compression ratio of 9.5-1
