►► How to reach Triund?
⇨ The Triund trek starts from McLeodganj or Gallu. Since we were staying at Birdhouse Retreat in Gallu, we could start the trek easily from the guesthouse backside.
⇨ It's an easy, doable trek and you don't need a guide.
⇨ In monsoon, I suggest staying inside the guesthouse on top. I stayed at Upper Moonlight guesthouse (pre-book it during peak season).
⇨ You can start early morning and descend the same day or choose staying on top.
⇨ There are one or two restaurants/shacks/cafes on top serving egg burji, Maggi, tea/coffee/lemon juice and dal rice.
