"Go" is a Japanese board game similar to chess in the fact that you are a king commanding an army, either black or white. It's played on a gridded plain, pieces(stones) are played on the intersections of the grid called " liberties". You capture enemy pieces and claim area on the board by leaving them no open liberties to connect to their previously played stones too. Players can play a stone anywhere they choose on the board unless it is in an area already captured by the opponent or it would be in a position to be immediately captured by the opponent. Players can pass their turn at anytime, the game is over when both players pass a turn. You tally up the points with a few more complicated rules. Most points at the end wins.

When we were younger, my brother and I visited a tennis camp, and when we were speaking German to each other another kid asked us if that was indeed what we were speaking (he was, like, 13 or so). We just looked at each other, then told him that no, we were speaking Austrian. Completely different. And he bought it.

Austria never has been part of the German state (with the exception of one short stint in the 30s and 40s), so there’s no getting “back” together, and they have their own culture and identity. Hungary even more so; they don’t even speak an indo-european language, and even during Austrian rule they didn’t exactly get along with them.

The figures of speech question was asking which were used for figurative language. Metaphor is saying something is something else, simile is saying something is *like* something else, an oxymoron is something self-contradictory (e.g. a sharp sphere), hyperbole is excessive exaggeration, synecdoche is using part of something to represent the whole (or vice versa), litotes is expressing something with the opposite of its negative (saying "you won't be up" to mean "you will be down," generally ironic), personification is ascribing personality traits to something, and metonymy is using an attribute or characteristic of something in place of the thing (e.g. calling a cop a "badge"). The rest of the options are all parts of language that are not used figuratively, and therefore not figures of speech.

There are certainly subspecies that are that small, but the average adult male of many subspecies regularly grow to MUCH bigger than 227kg (The zoo I worked at had young galapagos tortoises that weighed 300kgs+, and they were still growing.) Since the game does say "up to", not "average", it'd be kinda weird to use an average size for the tortoise, when they're using the upper limits for the other animals.
