Wacken = How to not mix Live Audio. But in case you want to mix like Wacken, follow these steps: Boost mids on guitars and pan them hard left/right without bleeding any into center for balance, emphasize the kick for the drums and nothing else, turn up the bass to just barely audible, max out the volume for the backup/side vocals without centering and balancing the main vocals, and lastly... wait until the band is in their third song before deciding to do any on-the-fly mix-fixing.

Nick was actually a friend of one the drum techs and when travis quit nick took over matt n corey said they were blown away when nick rehearsed for them he was flawless they said on every song

@josh Jones it sounds like that because he used lighter gauge strings than matt does. Matt uses 63-52-42-30-17-13-10 on his 7 string guitars. Corey uses I like 56-46-36-26-17-13-10 which is why his guitar doesn't sound as full sounded as matts does.

Trivium fuckin rocks! I was a bit disappointed not to hear The Deceived. That song has such an epic breakdown. But this is a good line up. Trivium isn't for everybody, but it was nice to see the crowd get right into it on songs. Wish they did a lot more. But, this was awesome! \m/
