Seriously. I have been binge watching any video containing the 2 of these fine human beings. And I find myself commenting to myself how much I love their dynamic. They have (or seem to have) a lot of respect for each other as people, as well as boundaries. rewatching for the 89th time and can i just say i never understood why people would get so upset when celebrities died because like yeah it’s sad but you don’t know them so why are you sad? but mary when i started watching drag race i was like oh wait no i get it now because and not to be cringe but these two people plus a bunch of other queens genuinely inspire me to be a better version of myself and be creative and spend more time exploring art and to be open about addiction and to overall be more honest with myself about what is and what is not. like i actually think i became a better person when i started watching drag race and i feel like even now when i watch content that drag race technically has given to us i become 0.000001% kinder and smarter and more creative and more honest, and when i see trixie and katya bringing it back down to a real human level with eachother like this it reminds me that they’re just people. they’ve actually taught me so much about healing, like moving parts destroyed me but also gave me this lightbulb moment of like these people have been through hell and back in their personal lives both before and after they met but they never lost their ART. katya and i’s life plots share a lot of similarities and watching them hold onto their art both through and after that makes me so emotional. i lost my art when i hit rock bottom and these people and a few other ru girls are actually genuinely inspiring me to try to find it again, because i miss it. thank you trixie and katya and the others that i love for sharing your art and thank you mother haram for the soft besties compilations i watch them all at least once a week 🤍
