Just FYI for Trixie: Cetearyl Alcohol is classified as a 'fatty alcohol' in that it is actually a moisturising ingredient. IIRC it's a not a humectant product that draws in moisturise but it does help to fortify and protect your skin's moisture barrier. Just thought I'd clarify for you since you seemed (rightfully so, IMO) concerned about the dehydrating effect of some chemicals like isopropyl alcohol.

One tip I learnt about the highlighter- scratch off the top layer and it’s more intense! It’s baked so the top layer is a bit funky... setting spray on the highlighter brush also can intensify but I reckon you already knew that! :-)

Elf is by no means the best brand of makeup, but if you’re someone like me who loves makeup but can’t afford the good stuff, it’s a good brand to go with. Most of their stuff is pretty decent, and the quality of the products tends to be higher than the price you pay for them
