I do appreciate when you make videos like this periodically. As a relatively seasoned player, it can be difficult to keep up with what the new best raid counters are as new pokemon and move sets get released. It's nice to have someone who knows what they're talking about explain this stuff in a more digestible format than a spreadsheet. :)

Classic Trainer Tips!!!! I prefer these types of videos. Education about events, new moves/mons, best practices, etc are extremely helpful. A lot of us don't have the time to do our own reserach. For anyone who’s into PvP: MewTwo, Metagross, Swampert and Garchomp are all great investments for Master League (open & premier, as well as their classic counterparts). You’ll want to power-up ones with 15 attack, as well as ones with legacy moves (except for Garchomp - legacy move’s not necessary).
@maganhassan26272 жыл бұрын
For lower leagues which pokemon then?
@Reereez47952 жыл бұрын
@@maganhassan2627 It depends on the league. Great & Ultra league pokemon won’t necessarily be powered up all the way. It depends on the Pokemon. All the ones listed in this video should not be maxed if they’re being used for GL & UL (short-hand for the league names). In fact, only Swampert is usable in all 3 leagues. The other pokemon struggle due to lack of bulk at a lower CP. Armored MewTwo is viable in UL, though. You’ll prefer PvP ivs for GL/UL (ivs with lower attack but higher defense & HP). You can check for optimal PvP ivs through Poke Genie or Go Stadium. 15 atk is only necessary for Master League, where CMP ties can be critical for wins. Ultra League has a more condensed meta, but Great League is quite open despite meta picks. PvPoke is an amazing website to see which Pokémon are the best for each league (although keep in mind that ranks are based off sim stats; the sim is in the one-shield and assumes you successfully baited someone with a low energy cost move, which does not always happen). Overall, the pokemon mentioned in this video are more for raids, Rocket Stops, and the occasional Master League (perhaps even Silph Arena Master League drafts, where Mega pokemon are allowed).
@mixingreen2 жыл бұрын
Melmetal should be on this list. Everybody should have a maxed out melmetal. Top pokemon for taking down any grunt leaders shields fast and its probably the best pokemon for battle in the mater league and also pretty good in the ultra league too. If you like pvp , its a must have.

I've been playing Pokémon Go for a while but not as a super serious player. I’m so happy I found your videos! I was a casual player back in the beginning and found it simple enough to ask friends and understand, but wow, things have changed in the couple years I stopped playing!!! I don’t remember what question I asked the Google to get me to you but I was so happy it did! I’ve been able to search your content to get many questions answered. I’m still confused about many things and have been hoarding my candy and stardust afraid of making the wrong decision, especially since I missed so many community days and therefore don’t have the special moves you talk about here. I’m missing quite a few Pokémon in fact. I’m hoping I can somehow get caught up and play with a bit more confidence, but I’m afraid I’ll be only able to catch and raid. Battling seems to be something you had to be there from the beginning to really get. If you could do a video for new and returning players I think that I wouldn’t be the only one to appreciate it. My raid group has a bunch of new players, and I’ve talked to a lot of people like me. I know you usually cater to the experts but you have a great way of explaining and new players would appreciate that! Thanks!
