I really hope they don't release shinies in waves, because everybody will just start looking for that specific Pokémon like the Magikarp, and everyone will end up getting the same shinies, which ruins the authenticity of running into one out of nowhere.
@DDawgX7 жыл бұрын
Not every one will get the same shinies actually maybe the same type but shineys are individual. If you find a shiny and tell your friends which one you caught it wont be shiny for your friends when they catch it. It will still share IV's and move sets but the shiny aspect will only apply to one person.
@swastikagrawal21507 жыл бұрын
AdVirus shiny's individual spawns. If you get a shiny, you're friend won't get it. It also means that trackers won't be able to find. Shinys
@advirus68797 жыл бұрын
Ok. I think I worded my post wrong. What I meant by everybody getting the same shinies, is if they release, say, the shiny Sentret line, everybody will start catching all of the sentrets they see, and setting their priorities on the sentrets, which will result in almost everybody having a shiny sentret before the next shiny wave comes out.

Nick.... Why so much angst??? Dude, do what you have to in order to remain creative. Every other day, OR three days a week, OR Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday Q&A... OR drop them when you drop them. It is all good my man, and does not reflect on work ethic. You are showing classic signs of burn out, and most of us keep saying it IS ALL GOOD and we support whatever works. One idea... Hire one of those companies that give you a part time assistant to help manage your schedule and life so you can focus on the creative. Especially now that you are looking to do other content (which most of us, like me, look forward to) CHEERZ

In my opinion you show perfectly how ordinary people live with the game, I mean, playing almost everytime we are in the street, not being crazy to bring here the first shiny or more stuff, just playing as a mean trainer, while you are living your life. I did the same trip in February for 3 weeks. I spent a few days in Sydney, flew up to Townsville and ferried over to Magnetic Island, and then went to NZ. If there's a festival happening in aussie then it will be more fun. There's a ton of pokestops and gyms in Sydney. Don't forget to apply for your tourist visa for Australia ahead of time. The cell connection was a little lagging on my US SIM card. The island was nice, but like your island trip that means limited stops and even slower connection. PoGo didn't even record my location as Australia there. I did a 5 day tour in NZ, but since you have two weeks you may not want to stay as long. Rotorua is pronounced like row-tuh-rue-uh. If you want more info let me know.

Gold Coast - theme parks galore NEW ZEALAND 1. Hobbiton (simply amazing) 2. Rotorua's great! Check out the geysers - but be prepared for the smell! 3. Hill luge (or something like that) - one in Queenstown, heaps of fun! Hope that helps with planning your trip - whatever the case you'll have heaps of fun!

AUSTRALIA TIPS: hey You could spend 2 weeks on a road trip from Adelaide to Sydney along the coast, that is probably your best bang for buck. you will see a lot but wont experience much because 2 weeks is not nearly enough time in Australia but that trip could be shortened. i do no recommend trying to visit people in Perth unless you intend to spend all 2 weeks in WA. it is beautiful in WA but you will need a car and it will be mostly beaches or desert :P. Tasmania is really nice for the mountains and forests. same as the blue mountains near Sydney. north Queensland can be something a bit different that what you're used to but again need a car and you are kinda limited to staying there for times sake. same with Darwin and the NT. Victoria and NSW are the easiest states to see together. Anything else is painfully far away and you will spend most of you time in transit trying to go back and forth through the states. Flying from north Queensland to south Queensland is like flying from Sweden to Morocco for example.... going from Perth to Sydney or Darwin is like going from San Francisco to Florida.

Good choice to visit NZ. If you are going to drive while there - see Rotorua and visit Whakarewarewa the living Maori village. Napier, the Art Deco town, Taupo has a huge lake. Go to Wellington and catch the ferry to Picton and drive the coast to Kaikoura, hopefully they have recovered somewhat from the earthquake. Then see Christchurch and fly out of Christchurch. Depending on how much time you spend in each area you may be able to make it to Queenstown and fly out there. We did this trip driving from Aukland to Christchurch and back in 2 weeks last year. There are a lot of forest park areas to see along the way, beautiful coastlines, scenic towns and very friendly people. Hostels are fairly cheap (cheaper than hotels) if you get a shared room. Good luck and have a safe trip. BTW...2 shiny Magikarp in the last 2 days..terrible IVs though :)

I've heard that if a spawn is shiny for one person, it may not be shiny for another person. This is probably just to prevent cheaters from finding a way to scan the whole area for shiny pokémon, but this could also mean that Niantic could things like pokedex completion (the Kanto and Johto metals), the fisherman metal, and whether or not you're wearing the magikarp hat to change the odds of a shiny encounter for each player. On the other hand, maybe they're some "trainer ID number" that determines if the pokémon is shiny if it matches some random number generated for each pokémon spawn, like they did in earlier generations (gen 3?).

New zealand. Rotorua.. amazing. you can actually skydive over an active volcano. born nearby there. also at the northern tip of the north island is one of two places in the world where you can see the two major oceans collide. its like a wavy line where the oceans meet... two different colors.

When you come to Australia you'll know doubt go to the Central Coast (on the East Coast), you should definitely go to: - The Entrance (waterfront) - Gosford - Newcastle (the foreshore) - Circular Quay, The Rocks, and Darling Harbour (all in Sydney) - Long Jetty - Westfield Tuggerah The se are all good spots for Pokemon and are all just good places in general. Plus, they are all in a relatively close proximity to each other. Need any help, come see me ;) Hope this helped Nick!

I went to Rotorua. Easiest way to get around was renting a car, although we ditched it in the South Island for a tour option, but getting there was fun. Spent two n a half weeks there in 2010!

NZ tips: Hey Nick I live in Auckland and would be happy to show you around on Friday the 28th and Saturday the 29th. In Auckland you probably want to check out a black sand beach like Piha maybe climb Rangitoto Island (which is a dominant Volcano) or head to Waiheke Island. Pokemon wise maybe go to Auckland domain. I would recommend going to the Coromandel like a 3 hour drive. And check out hot water beach and Cathedral Cove. Waitomo glow worm caves and black water rafting is a great experience. Then there is Hobbiton in Matamata. When your in Rotorua (pronounced Row-Tow-Rue-Ahh kinda) go on the luge you probably will want to go to a Marae and get traditional Maori experience. Check out the boiling mud pits and geysers even though it's not so active anymore and go to some thermal hot pools. The South Island has amazing scenery Queenstown is a major tourist place and is worth a visit. You can go on a jet boat though a canyon, do a bungee jump the night life vibe and food is really good there too. I have heard Milford sounds is amazing if you fit it in and maybe go to Frans Joseph glacier. If you need more info or a ride just let me know. Ps I have a JetSki if you want to go cursing the Auckland harbour.

KZbinr life is so hard

Have you tried it? The editing time alone will make you want to quit... Seeing as you have 0 uploaded videos you clearly have no clue how hard it is lol. Yeah it's fun, but it's still a ton of work.

I am so over this. My sister works 10-12 hr days 6-7 days/wk as an RN @ our local hospital, and I haven't heard her whine ONE time about it. Im a single mom, full time student AND full time worker. Lots of people work. :) Of course, I've heard myself whine a few times.. But I've been a fan from the beginning- literally watch one yt vid / day right before I go to bed. Probably ALL of MY relax time is spent with him. So, I am a fan and I do appreciate his work. But, I really think he should just stop doing the "fancy" edits and shots. It doesn't look natural to walk up to a camera, pulls me out every time. Also, IDK bout y'all but I FF thru all the musical/ scenery/ eating stuff anyway, and that's probably what's eating his time up. If he'd just sit at his desk, and tell us the Reddit stuff, and the info we all are most likely here for, it'd save him loads of time! and I can only speak for myself, but I'd appreciate him so much more! Also, if he'd MAKE himself a regular schedule, that would help. Pretend he has a job with a boss.We go to bed early because we KNOW we have to be at work at a particular time-- THEN wake up in time to do that!! It might be a bit hard at first, but it's what grown-ups do. Booger, I really do appreciate Nick, feel like that was way too long and too mean. lol Guess I'm a blabberer too!

Do you have a KZbin channel that you're uploading videos daily to? Have you edited hundreds of videos before? If not idk why you are commenting about it as if you know what it's like.. would you like me to comment on how single moms who work full time should structure their time when I'm a man who has no kids? Probably not. This is Nick's channel, he can make videos however he wants. Doing "fancy" edits and shots is something Nick likes to do and many viewers (me included) appreciate it because it does make the vlogs easier to watch. Many people just like to watch vlogs so they like fancy stuff like that. Congratulations on being a single mom and working at the same time I'm sure you do work hard, but let Nick make videos how he wants. If the information is all you're after no one is stopping you from reading the reddit posts yourself. And actually, you technically are kind of whining right now -- about how he edits his videos... #justsayin

Of course not, I barely have time to watch a video. I'm also in school full-time. I never said or meant anyway, that it's easy, just that it's what we do as grown-ups. It seems like Nick is just miserable anymore. Maybe these changes will help. I was just saying he could save himself loads of time if he didnt worry so much about the "fancy stuff." Sounds like you'll be getting a whole new channel with plenty of it soon. I'll have my "trainer tips" and we can both be happy. 😀
