My coach would always remind me that you have to think like a champion before you become one. Very true and that's what I see has really shifted and improved in them in the past 12 or 18 months. with there retirement of the former #i&2 couples they know that world title is theirs if they want it and have lifted their intensity, belief, floor presence, charisma, personality, and showmanship. Especially Troels who now looks so much sharper and confident and the partneship looks perfectly balanced . They are telling the dance world that title has to be theirs and who would argue.

Couldn’t agree more. Ina is just a star (as always has been!), but the shift in Troels is indeed so apparent. What I admire so much about them is what I adored with M&J- a very clear male-female division. Troels is not a single bit touching the feminine notes which I often see in many male-dancers. They are both spectacular and super elegant. Always loved them the most (when the were 3rd in the world too 😅) and with this new champion mind and attitude there is nothing there to stop them. On the other hand the last time I saw Marina and Dorin was at the competition in January, so I wonder what they have been up to in all this months over the past half-a-year… oh Blackpool! How exciting this edition will be.
