I’m an American who is a big Pulisic supporter and I feel like he’s underperformed in every preseason match (you can argue he played decent vs Madrid… I’m not worried though, he will find his form eventually. But so far I feel like he’s pressing too much, trying to force things and then loses possession. I understand because he clearly wants to make a big impression but he has to stick to his own game and the results willl come. Having said all that I will say that once Chuckwueze is match fit he will start at RW because he is a much more dangerous threat outside, has quicker pace and a better shot. And that’s exactly why I wish Pioli gives Pulisic significant minutes as a number 10 in the middle behind Giroud or Okafor in the remaining preseason matches so Pulisic can get used to that position.

Credo che ieri abbiamo iniziato, piano piano, ad ingranare. SuperMike è stato determinante per la Vittoria del Trofeo. Indubbiamente, questo ci dà morale e forza ed è di buon auspicio per l'imminente inizio della Nostra Stagione Calcistica. Vorrei dire un bravo a Christian Pulisic e, naturalmente, ad Olivier che in queste prime nostre uscite ha fatto vedere cose interessanti, Rafa, invece, dovrebbe essere meno frettoloso e guardarsi bene intorno, quando costruiamo le nostre azioni di attacco; in sostanza dovrebbe partecipare più al gioco. Comunque un buon test e sono contento per il risultato; certo è che c'è ancora da migliorare ed i margini per farlo sono ancora tanti, del resto siamo appena all'inizio. Comunque un risultato Importante, soprattutto per i ragazzi, perché possano crescere in autostima e credere ancora maggiormente nei loro mezzi 👍. If monza can easily play with us and have 50% possession, that is not the "conttol" that Pioli raved about. We need a coach who instills value in the ball, effort to get in shape in transition, ability to press, while still playing with freedom and creativity. That is where European football is heading.
