47 years ago in 1976 I turned 30 and no longer had to race 17 year old kids. I thought the guys in the veterans class were so slow that I could start backwards and still win. I didn't realize how much things have changed, these old guys are pretty damn fast.👍

How long have you been riding a dirt bike?

I started racing in 1977 when I was 15 years old in Spain ("Juveniles" Class) with a Montesa Cappra 125 VB. I raced until 1982 ("junior Class) and stoped because I had to go to Medical school to become a medical doctor first and a plastic surgeon later. I returned to racing in 2009 (at 47 years of age) in the 40+ veterans Mx classes, and also classic vintage motocross races in Catalonia (regional) and the rest of Spain, and in 2010 and 2011 I also raced the FIM Veteran World Cup (Lommel, Valkenswaard, Mantova, Mallory Park, Glen Helen, ...) Until about 2 years ago, that I no longer race in Spain (just riding at the motocross track every now and then) and I only race each year in the World Vet Championship in Glen Helen.

@ ha cool I started racing a little back in 77 also but ride single track trails out here in New mexico
