First, the greek word for "Almighty" is Παντοκράτωρ (Pantokratōr) and it means "Ruler of all, ruler of the universe, the almighty. From pas and kratos; the all-ruling, i.e. God." So Jesus is the ruler of ALL. If Jesus was a separate God/separate being from the Father, then he would have to be the ruler of the Father. Good thing that trinitarian theology harmonizes this perfectly by knowing that Jesus is the same God as the Father, just distinct persons, so they each together are ruler of all because they get that from their divinity that they eternally share. (And same with the Holy Spirit). You've seen that "Pantokratōr" means "all-ruling." Jesus is all ruling like how he is all-powerful, all-knowing, all-good, ect. Those are qualities that only God has. If Jesus is God and God almighty, then we don't have to show you that he is the Father. In fact, he isn't the Father in the sense that he is the same person, but if the scriptures that they have provided you in the stream show that Jesus is God and the almighty God and that scripture says that there is one God, then that logically follows that Jesus is the same God as the Father and that they are of the same divinity and nature and essence. I got a question for this dude: How can Jesus bear these divine titles without actually being divine? Because when scripture gives Jesus these titles, there is never any implication from the text/context that they are figurative or something. So are you calling the word of God a liar when they call Jesus God almighty?
