They look weird as hell. Like a tram and a bus had an illegitimate child. Interesting though. I like the wheel covers to clean up the lines, but also turn with the wheels

Les transports low coast du futur si les énergies fossiles venaient à manquer ou serait trop chère, ou aussi à cause du réchauffement planétaire, à condition que l'électricité vient d'énergies vertes. Ce n'est pas si compliqué d'installer du câblage sur des réseau de bus conventionnels pour les transformer en réseaux de bus électriques.

Superbe vidéo !!! Lyon est très bien équipée en matière de transport en commun. Les bus changent, évoluent mais je regrette quand même les bus et trolley des années 80 à Lyon et surtout les lignes n°23 et n°9 !!!!!!!

@ ian jeffrey. Much like the UK, we couldn't lag behind the then "Fashion" and were getting rid of everything that used 'over-head' wires, even to scrapping some as new as around 5 years old. Now they are trying to be 'with it' in bringing back some trams in towns. It doesn't enter their 'tiny' minds that one more 'overhead' wire does away with the colossal cost of laying new track which all authorities are having to do. Added to the fact that you only need any vehicle 1mm in the way of a tram and it is stuck, at least with a 'trolley bus' it can steer around it, and it uses existing roads. No land has to be acquired, - (even for part of a 'new' route), - which adds even more cost. I suppose one day some British 'politician' might have the 'bright' idea to re-introduce them, but until then we will just have to put up with the Government giving Councils millions of pounds to waste on building tracks etc, and then we wonder why our NHS is in such a mess.

The bus company here in Pittsburgh just came out with a (probably not so) new gimmick -- a BATTERY tri-axle bus (E-bus with no wires)... My only question is how the hell do they make sure that thing doesn't DIE in the middle of Oakland...

Ils sont loin les Vetra 6 roues avec caisse Berliet de mon enfance . Maintenant les TCL, pardon le SYTRAL, contrairement aux parisiens donneurs de leçons, ont gardé leur parc de trolley et l'ont même augmenté. Typical French, not scared to use electric traction in the streets plus no batteries In the UK,they got rid of them all in the 60s and the system Bradford in 1972. Wellington in NZ scrapped them in 2017. They are quiet, excellent well a d look good. The French are progressive not backward.
