That's correct. Godzilla's regular attacks usually take anywhere from 1 to 4 damage on Bagan (if you're lucky enough to use them). The only attack able to take more than that is the Hyper Fire Breath Attack, and even that only takes around 30!

I was wondering if it was possible to beat Bagan with regular Godzilla, and if so/if not, what it would take. I'm happy you made this video to show that even with infinite health and time and fast-forwarding, it would take around 45 MINUTES to take him down. I think it's safe to say this is one video game boss that is literally impossible without exploits. Just goes to show why Bagan could never be in a Godzilla film--Godzilla wouldn't be able to beat him!

As absurd as this is, it's one of the only instances of anyone showing off all of normal Godzilla's attacks vs Bagan, including the unique blocking animation for Godzilla's normal atomic breath.

Just found this while trying to figure out where screencaps of Bagan's 'forcefield' came from. I find it interesting that they bothered to not just code in a hard nope to the Atomic Breath... but also let the Hyper Fire Breath punch through. And it's not just a copy paste of MechaGodzilla's forcefield, because there's no retaliation... Nobody was ever going to see this without cheating.

I've definitely run into this a couple of times in the past without cheats. It's doable if you have the invincibility + Fighting Spirit power-ups. The window of opportunity's remarkably small, though!

@@SuperGodzillaGaming I also like how winning as regular Godzilla doesn't brick the game, like other "impossible boss" scenarios such as Bowser at the beginning of Paper Mario. Instead, the ending just continues as normal. Perhaps winning as regular Godzilla was supposed to be reasonably doable, perhaps leading to a secret ending, until fairly late in development?

actually the best way of using godzilla to kill bagan is to use defence cell and bump at him, not using attacks, each time you punch him he will use body slam and an attack.

You guys are REALLY bad at lying, you know that? Even if I play devil's advocate and assume you got ALL Hyper Fire Breath attacks, you'd need 30 to beat Bagan. THIRTY. That would require not only perfect RNG, but also NOT getting constantly interrupted by Bagan's body slams (which deal a lot of damage in addition to closing the attack reel), AND doing it under the extremely strict time limit. Either that or using cheat codes like SGG did here.

Goku Urameshi Aside from the fact the person admits that he used some cheat codes, there is also the fact that if you beat Mecha King Ghidorah without going for the super energy, it will still be there when you get challenged by Bagan. As long as that vat of energy is still there, the Super X will never deliver energy to you.

What is this? Why does his health keep going back up? I legit beat Bagan as regular Godzilla when I was a kid and didn’t bother reading to find out I could become Super Godzilla. I discovered SuperG when I popped it in like 5-10 years later, and it was SO much easier. Anyways, I thought this was gonna be a video about actually beating him with Godzilla. What a bunch of crap. First, he said cheat codes and an Action Replay were used. Read the description. Second, you'd need THIRTY Hyper Fire Breath attacks AND a crapton of healing items just to survive Bagan's onslaught.

After studying your gameplay, it’s obvious that you hacked the game somehow. If you kept landing attacks on Bagan before he could get a hit in, you might win. However, the odds of that happening are very unlikely and you’re not that good (as evident from your gameplay). Also, I noticed you have infinite hit points. Beating Bagan on God mode is no challenge. 🤔
