Trolling cranks over main lake humps in early summer is the best way to put walleye in your rig. Fish are covering water and looking for food where ever they can get it!

The Rumble B and Rumble Shiner killed it for me last May. I did a fly in on Rainy Lake and caught quite a few Walleyes that were 24-30” trolling the Rumble Shiner in Steel Chartreuse color

Just found you guys and so glad I have! Being from TX, walleyes are very elusive for me since I spend only 5/6 months a year up Northin MN, plus I didn’t have electronics. Now I do and pray I will this year. There is nothing worse than going fishing with your kids for that once a year moment with your kids to catch a fish but…. Nothing. Thank you both again…

You Should come to Meredith by Amarillo. Been catching my limit everytime I go out. And being in Texas means I’m usually the only one targeting them when I’m out there lol

Nice fish, yeah I started slamming bigger basin deep walleye at faster speeds a few yrs ago. Most think slow for walleye, but I guess the speed triggers them… cheers.

Nice simply technique. How do you avoid catching northern pike doing that? Are you using a leader to avoid bite offs?
@jessechaskey7205 Жыл бұрын
Try changing colors or a different style hard bait. We had a certain color one evening that we caught 2 pike on right away, we changed color, no more pike. That might not have much to do with it but it worked

Lure jensen hot shot#2 in chrome. Works the best where i am. But i cant find it anymore and the 2 i have left are scared to crap. Not a lie but we could catch 100 plus walleye in day each with that lure in mid to end of june
