Double Clutching has nothing to do with skipping gears It's a way to shift faster But only in manual transmission Because it is fucking logicaly: there are just 2 pedals in an automatic, no clutch for double clutching

Nissan GT-R is an automatic and it has a double clutch. The computer does the work for it. So you can double clutch in an automatic if the car was designed to.

Nathan Rumancik Thats different from a double clutch. Double clutch is built into the car. Do you know what a Nissan GT-R R35 is? It has a double clutch. It has one clutch for the odd gears, and another for the even gears, so that way when youre in a gear, the next gear is selected and ready to be engaged by the second clutch. Hence the name "double" clutch. So double clutching is indeed faster.
