I'm someone who does that. These role play servers can get pretty boring. But in the interest of preventing a regiment from being inactive, you come and semi-afk. I usually play Rainbow Six Siege while playing Gmod.

@@arachnophiliac I do have fun. There are just dips in fun. These games are held together by being social. You play for and with your friends. Not for the roleplay. Sometimes your friends aren't around so you play another game while waiting for them. And it isn't really a problem to semi afk while waiting and to leave the door open for others to interact with you. I appreciate your help though.

I study social psychology for fun and I'm always fascinated with how "brain dead" these people are because of the influence of an individual. Videos like these are candy to me. But each individual wants to be part of something good or bad, big or small, they flock together it's weird. An individual may feel like they didn't appreciate the joke because another high influence individual, like the admin, felt that way as well. They all influenced each other and band together to rid of a troll (in their mind), in the group, whether if they're telling the truth or not. It's really up to how the individual feels rather than what they think in these cases, is your answer. Sad to see but that's how some humans are. 😅
