Thanks for wonderful video,I am Planning for August ,I believe we can do it alone, Please let me know , do we need hiking shoe & any other special hiking gears? where to stay? How to book bus service for P3 magelitopp ?

August is the best time... But make sure the weather is good for the day... You don't need any special hiking equipments, just hiking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreem, water and food... I would recommend staying in odda.. booking bus is not required, you can drive to P2 and just stand in line and buy bus ticket to P3 on spot... I would recommend start early in the morning at 6am and complete your hike before 5.30pm as the last bus from P3 to P2 departs... Otherwise you have to walk 3 km down to p2

Hi.. Nice to see your video. We plan to do hike 18th May 2024... Do you recommend we plan our hike. We will be couple and planned visit to norway from India. A bit confused since I read that there will be snow during hike middle of may. Do you recommend?

We did hike in mid of June, and there were still lots of snow patches along the trail which made it a bit difficult for some parts, some people do hike in snowy conditions but I guess those are very much experienced hikers , also weather on the day of hiking is very important factor specially in snowy conditions (since there is no shelters along the hike), in my humble experience I would not like to take a risk on may mid.

We went alone, it's completely doable as the marking direction for trolltunga is very clear and available after very short distances 😊

@@Prakash_G. that is great 👍, we went mid of June... There was still some patches of snow few places along the track... Make sure you check the weather conditions before hiking... All the best and have fun in nature
